I want to take a version with a 1.6GHz processor, it should work faster, besides, different versions of this laptop have different screens, somewhere 1024x600, and somewhere 1280x768. And I think that a 1.6GHz processor and a 1024x600 screen would be the best choice. Because 1280x768 for VIA C7 and its integrated graphics is too much.
Hi Guys, please I need help as i am trying to install the windows 10 on my HP mini2133 as well, but when booting through USB, it shows the windows 10 icon and immediately gives me an orange screen and stays like that for eve and nothing happens. please, if you could me on how i can install it
Yes, something similar happened to us too. You'll probably need a much older version of W10. Newer ones don't work on it. We've used an unofficial "LITE" version of W10 for 32Bit.
Hi. I've also tried Windows 7, it runs a little better. Maybe Ubuntu is the solution. I've also got a SSD in it, and still don't like how the laptop runs. 😔
I have WIn 10 32Bit running on my HP Mini 2133 as well. Works ok with just 2GB of memory.
And are you using Chrome for browsing?
@@IonutIndigo
Yes, Chrome works fine. Also, Brave Browser works well as well.
@Fer
It actually works well given it has only 2GB ram...
I had one of those. It was cute and small, but it was slow and got hot like hell.
@@AdrianoMarcal Indeed they did.

Depends on what you când find.

@@IonutIndigohave you been able to run updates ok after initial install or does that break the install? thanks
@@mcal27 I always disable the updates. They will probably slow down the laptop and make it almost unusable.
Wouldn't it be better with Ubuntu or win 7?

😔
hi, i can't boot from usb and dvd player, it doesn't see them in any way, if i press f9 i only see hdd and ethernet. Anyone have the same problem?
Did you use Rufus to create a bootable USB?
@@IonutIndigo Hi , i did use rufus and use partition as MBR, but when booting from usb it just gives me an orange screen, please help me
@@luanaBasilio You can try an older version of Rufus and another version of W10. I never got the orange screen...
@@IonutIndigo did not work, still giving the orange screen. and it is not connecting through WIFI nor Cable.
That makes it much slower, even though it can run windows 8 (i mean the beta version right here ua-cam.com/video/xWrPq5wfj70/v-deo.html)
I agree. Windows 7 runs best on this laptop.
Windows 7 and 8 is better for old computers
X-lite windows 11🙊
I wish i could test it, but i don't have the HP 2133 Mini-Note PC anymore.
@@IonutIndigo Also it's not possible because no 32-bit version of Windows 11 exists and the HP 2133 only supports 32-bit Windows
