- you do not need any Text books for your 100 level. You can easily download online or check the library.

I want to do gynecology but I want to study medicine in Nile. Do I apply for medicine and surgery? Will I later be able to specialize in what I want to focus on?(gynecology?
Hi
Medicine and surgery in Nile is a 6 year course and you finish with an MBBS degree. After this 6years you can then choose to specialize in any area of your choice (could be gynecology etc) and that is called residency.
So the 6yrs doesn’t mean you automatically become a gynecologist.

Do all medical students have to stay in the asokoro hostel or are they allowed to stay in other hostels
100-300 level can stay on or off campus but 400-600 stay in asokoro from what I know of. I don’t know if it’s compulsory

On campus or off campus for accommodation in Nile

For 100 level I’d recommend on campus, that way you find it easier and stress feee navigating around the school, you get used to it faster and make more friends
