As a Bulgarian these girls made me proud multiple times. I will never forget how my mother was watching them I stopped by the TV just to see what's going on and then I saw our beautiful, skilled girls showing why Russia should not take medals for granted with their chaotic, boring executions.
In 2014 I was always in such awe watching Semenova. She has really, really good body skills, especially her ring and front scale, plus her leaps are very good. I would almost compare her to Soldatova in terms of talent if she had that thinking that makes Sasha so unique. To coach a girl like her would be such a dream, just making the best out of her talent.
Her name is Sasha Semenova. I felt the same way when she joined the team in 2014. I really enjoyed watching her and Dasha Avtonomova. Unfortunately Sasha ended her career with the national team after the mistake she made in Izmir. I miss both of them, the 2014 team was so much better and more exciting than the current team.
