Wow, amazing! Thank you for posting. (The view of the audience at the end -- and their expressions -- is also quite interesting.)
Those that "got it" clapped pretty enthusiastically, those that didn't just sat there, hopefully they were stunned, ha.
Music for the soul...cheers for posting mate
Alexander is a genius and over looked pianist, with Cecil Taylor and Fred Van Hove gone, he carries the torch now.RIP Peter Brotzmann.
RIP Gerd Dudek as well.
wow, back when Jaki Liebezeit was in Globe Unity. Truly a treasure.
Wonderful!!!
Fantastic, Thanks again Jay…
What a thing! Nearly 60 years ago.
Sensationell - Alexander von Schlippenbach, was hast du da losgetreten?
This is some incredible footage! So many unbelievable players and so young! They may have been a step behind the Americans, but not by much!
holy smokes, waht a gem - do you have more footage from those glorious Berliner Jazztage days or NDR jazzworkshop?
Schoooof!!!
Thanks for posting this incredible document !
What a solo!
Drummer was later in Can 🙂 . . .
so kann`s kommen, wenn man Sun Ras Arkestra gehört hatte :)
Viva la revolution
