Two of my nephews are adopted. I remember when my nephew was about 4 he asked my son if he came out of my tummy. My son responded yes. My nephew said that cool. I didn’t come out of my moms tummy. She picked me.
My uncle describes being adopted that way too but back in the 60s that's how it was done. My grandparents were taken to a room with the babies they could choose from. He was in the first crib by the door and my grandmother couldn't bear to walk past him to even look at the others. Many people encouraged him over the years to find his birth mom and he always responded that God gave him his only mom the day he was adopted.
Hi Peter and Mary! I found your channel yesterday when I was looking for videos of people recovering from sinus surgery, because I’m in the middle of that recovery process right now. I’ve been watching through a bunch of your videos since then and have loved catching up with how well you’re doing! Watching your videos have already helped me not feel alone on my chronic illness journey, so thank you ❤️❤️
I got my second shot (Moderna). Day of, just an aching arm. Day after, bleh! Just stayed in bed until about 3pm, then staggered over to my computer. Yeah, it was bad. Next day, so much energy that I was bouncing! glad that you're feeling better, Mary!
You got this Mary! So sweet the way Peter takes care of you & Ollie knows when you don’t feel good 😌 Hoping you feel better very soon! 😊 “It is well” is my go to song when I have a bad day ✝️
You look so beautiful sleeping in the car. I started watching you two about 6 months before you moved. I appreciate you both and so excited about your next chapter. Trina
As strange as it sounds, I was so happy to feel cruddy from my booster. I’m hoping that means my immune system had a good response. Glad to know you’re feeling better. ❤️
I just got my third booster dose yesterday due to having rheumatoid arthritis and being on biologics and it completely knocked me flat. The others didn’t bother me so I wasn’t really expecting that! Take care and soft hugs to you. ❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing your experience! I am nervous about my 3rd dose because the side effects from the second hit me hard and made for a difficult day of caring for my two small children. I know it'll be worth it, though! Praying for you!!
I'm nervous too because I had a hard time with both the first and second doses. The second one left me sick for almost a month (nausea, dizziness, and vertigo). But thank God I'm feeling good now. I will get the booster, though.

Oh I hope we get to see Joe! It’s been a long time since he’s been on the vlog. I love to see the two brothers together. Ollie is going to be excited to see Joe too!Sure am glad the shot didn’t mess up your trip or make you seriously sick. You guys have fun!
I call the vaccine arm pain the bat treatment, it feels like someone sneaks into my room in the middle of the night and goes to town on my arm with a bat 😂
Mary would love CUBA! Music EVERYWHERE - in the streets, and dancing down the road as you go about your day there! When I left Cuba - I couldn't stand the time with music not playing everywhere!
My sister got it in her right leg. She's got lymphatic swelling and they say it you have that it's best to do it in the leg. She chose the right leg because it's further from the heart and has time to circulate through the blood. She got sick and had a injection reaction too on the 1st one and just got her second this weekend. I'm glad you recovered ok from it all.
My husband and I got our second moderna yesterday. So far, I've only had a sore arm, but was sick for 6 days with the first one. My husband felt bad for 3 days with the first one, but today he started running a high fever and he feels bad. I plan on getting the booster because I'm immune compromised.
My daughter is a nurse. She had a mild case of covid in October. She got her first shot Christmas Eve. Because she had had Covid, it was the first shot that she had the bad symptoms from. She felt so much worse than when she had the virus. Higher fever, chills, muscle aches, lymph pain, and chest wall pain. With her second shot, she felt a little puny but it went away with Tylenol and Advil. She had her booster last week. She felt puny again. But it is much better than Covid. She takes care of covid patients every day and knows how bad that is. Feel better and have a good trip.
I had my 3rd (booster shot) yesterday. the headache is rough. I'm glad you're feeling better. Also, I don't think needing music is a flaw. Every time I take the T I have to have music. My music addiction is so bad that on the rare occasion I have forgotten my headphones at I'll go buy new ones just so I can survive my commute.
STOPWORLDCONTROL - lawyers are preparing to sue governments, health institutions, and all who are complicit in the planned pandemic. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH!
I'm a hard no on the Covid injection. I won't go into it further. Good luck. On a different note, the cactus flowers are absolutely marvelous. I'm looking into getting a cactus plant.
With the exception of one night when I didn't. I either eat a bowl of cereal b4 going to bed or I drink a small glass of milk. Sometimes I eat cookies with milk. I like Honey bunches of oats, Fruit Loops, Frosted Flakes, coco puffs, and my favorite cereal is frosted mini-wheats.
I’m struggling post 3rd dose. Around the 20 hour mark, I got bad body aches, my muscles and bones hurt. 100.2 fever and exhaustion. I left work early, and tried to rest, snack and stay hydrated all day. I’m hoping I feel better tomorrow! I’m super grateful I could plan this shot for a chill week at work when I could leave. I’m grateful I can get an extra dose to keep my immune system up since I work in a busy building.
I have the same issue as Mary. I also prefer music to silence on a road trip and also to help me sleep. Apparently I’ve been like this since babyhood xxxxxxxxxxx
I got mine yesterday. I'm running a slight fever and my arm hurts bad. I have a big red spot where they gave the shot,it hardly hurt last time. Hope I get to feeling better instead of worse as the days go on.

Totally agree with the shot analogy. I had a lipoma removed from my upper chest area about 3 years ago. The second shot felt about as bad as that did. It sucked.
If your blood sugar is not going up after treating it with the cubes or sugar circles then you should use icing. We keep four containers of regular icing in the squeezy bottle to use just in case even if I'm getting to the point where I'm going to pass out my husband will keep squeezing it in my mouth so that I can keep eating it. It works really well you can throw them in your purse to!
I agree when you have a headache you don’t feel human! Sorry you had a tough reaction! When I got my second shot just had sore shoulder! Mmm beef and cheddar croissant from Portillo’s that’s my favorite! I have one 2 min from my house!! I can’t eat there very often or I would weigh too much it’s so good! Especially their chocolate cake shakes!!
My arm is crazy sore and I hope that’s all that happens. 2 hours on the runway!! Ugh!! What a waste of time! Peter I am so there. No noise in the car when I’m driving. My hub? Just the opposite. And his hearing was bad, it’s shot after having radiation to the brain so his music is LOUD!!! Sorry about missing out on Portillo’s. We just got one in my hub’s hometown. Haven’t tried it yet. Hope you enjoy your time away. Mary I hope you’re feeling better by now!
The only way anyone can tell if they are protected is by getting an ELISA antibody test! These jabs are actually only 45-80% effective. Nobody knows if your jab caused covid antibodies unless they get tested! Pain and sickness does NOT mean you are having covid spike protein antibodies stimulated. That is the worst science ever. And these jabs are wearing off around 4-5 months! That’s why they are freaking out about everyone getting boosters now. This short-term effect surprised them. So how can anyone know if they are protected at 3.5 months or 4 months or 5 months? You cannot. You are walking around imagining you are safe. If you’re not testing, you’re guessing. A vaccine passport means absolutely nothing. It means you got a shot, but not that it worked. So after you get your frequent antibody tests to see if the shot worked at all on you, or has started wearing off, or has just stopped working suddenly, you can’t know if teachers, clerks, neighbors, etc. ACTUALLY HAVE ANTIBODIES!!! Getting a shot means nothing. Antibodies are what would help protect you from covid. This is coming out now. It’s on the list of things they are suppressing. They’d rather mandate “boosters for everyone” for financial and control reasons. Not cool since it aids viral mutation. Science, friends. Science. But just getting a shot is a crap shoot. Mary should get her antibodies tested every two weeks. So should we all. Not just a regular antibody test, either. An ELISA test which tests specifically for the covid antibodies which the jab supposedly specifically stimulates. It’s shocking if they just gave her a third shot without having test her antibodies and t-cells!! What is the science in that? Please, check my facts.
I’m with ya Mary, my arm did feel like it had been hit with a meat mallet a couple of times! Haha! The body aches were the not fun part! I’d think to get up and do something and then my body was like “Naw, let’s not do that today, not today!” Haha!
The arm pain might be partly due to how it was given. My first one hurt when he did it, and my arm was killing me for days. The second one was given by a different person, and I didn't even feel it, and was less sore, but the symptoms were bad enough that I called off work.
Hope you feel better soon! Mine felt like that to! Mine actually bruised! Looked like someone punched me in the arm 😂💖 but I never got sick or anything
Yeah I remember my husband would go low alot on his sugar. I really hated that cause he's go nuts screaming for soda pops and candy bars. 🙄 He didn't want to stop eatting them. Mary needs a neck pillow for the car. 👍 We only do spa music in the car. It's all we do in the car because it's background.
I got my first shot 10 days ago, as soon as it was at my age group. I got the Pfizer shot, and oh boy... 3 days of an endless sleep with a persistent migraine. My arm was just a little bit sore, I was able to climb into my bunk bed with no problem 😂 I'm excited to get my second dose, but the wait here is 12 weeks :( I just want to go back to college!! I'd take the shot as many times as needed if it meant the pandemic would be over (which means every single country being fully vaccinated and with no new cases/deaths, of course)
Well honey, there will never be a “ fully vaccinated” country and there will also always be new cases/deaths. Once we reach herd immunity the pandemic is over. That’s around 80% and immunity.
I was really sore around the injection site both times, couldn't sleep on that side. But that's all I felt. I've never had flu symptoms either though, the last time I had a fever was in 2007 when I had mono 😅
Haha! Lol! That was me after swimming this morning. My blood sugar got low and once I started eating pancakes I was freaking out in a good way and feeling better. Lol!
It is so strange that some people have such bad reactions and feels like crap while others feels completely normal. I never felt anything with my vaccines (sinovac) and my mom felt like dying. I wonder if the reaction depends both on the type of the vaccine and every person's body
I read that the vaccine could be more painful for those who may have had an asymptomatic case of the virus. I hope the vaccine protects you and your mom.❤️💐💐
Placebos possibly. Keep a close eye on the obituaries, the bigger towns have had crazy numbers of deaths of people under the ages of 70 yrs of age. It's going to be interesting in the next year or 5.
This is why people mistake a low blood sugar for being tipsy. It’s definitely a scary feeling to be in it. Did the low sugars happen with the first 2 vaccines?
My first Covid dose my arm was very sore. My second dose I had flu like symptoms and felt miserable. I talked to my client docter to the third vaccine is not available for me right now. I'm just coming down of Prednisone and my side effects are horrible. So I wouldn't want to get the vaccine right now and have those symptoms coming off prednisone. I'm an immune suppressed because my iron is very low and because of the steroids medication. Feel better Mary happy 🚘🚥🛣 traveling thanks for sharing you're day god bless.
I had my second vaccine yesterday. I've had headaches, fevers, chills, my arm hurts and I also feel like garbage. My name is also Mary. I hope that you feel better soon.
Afraid to give it to you 90 yr old me who survived covid hospitalization in nyc but got pretty ill from 2nd shot ….bounced back after 2 days but at her age wher issues , afraid to put her thru that again…hate covud
I was so unwell with my 1st vaccine and completely fine with the second one so god only knows what I what the booster will do to me when the uk government decide on when to start running them out hopefully alongside the flu jab.
I'm glad you had a response and I hope it means more antibodies & the alphabet cells! Remember tho that for the immunocompromised the third injection isn't considered a booster. P.S did you get the vaccine at cvs? I'm asking bc I think I remember you saying that the jab stung - I think it's their standard needles! My Dr gave me a handful of "the good needles" for my home injections bc of the terrible-ness of cvs needles!🤣 Not that I wouldn't go to cvs for my vaccines, bc I do. It's just hospitals have better needles.😆
It’s the next day- I have a news to share!!!! I’m feeling a TON better! Woohoo! So thankful!

I was so unwell with my 1st vaccine and completely fine with the second one so god only knows what I what the booster will do to me when the uk government decide on when to start running them out hopefully alongside the flu jab.
I live on the eastern shore of maryland love your videos
Hope you feel better Mary
Was the 3rd shot the Monoclonal antibody? I guess I've been under a rock. I am high risk. I'll check with my doc. Feel better guys, enjoy your vacay.
No. The booster is exactly the same as the first 2 shots. The monoclonal antibody treatment is what you may be able to get IF you catch Covid.
You need change the date of Volg it not 23 it 24 I hope you see this
Joe!
I've missed seeing Joe!😁😁🤗
Yay!! I got my third vaccine on Monday!
I like silence also when driving lol my family thinks I’m crazy 😜 They all like music on and hate the silence lol
I will be eligible to get my booster soon as well. I have an underlying health issues.
Prayers!
Was the first one to get a flu shot at my local CVS. Didn’t feel a thing. Feel better, Mary. 💉🥺
@@arleneleeman5479 nice! They must have better needles at yours.🥰
