I take Italian twice a week for an hour and fifteen minutes and I actually like it that way. I can really go over the notes the day I have in between both classes and that way I can ask questions.
for the spanish class, i would choose the 2 hours twice a week. im in high school and my classes are already 1.5hrs each, so it wouldn't be an insane amount of time added on.
I'm taking spanish at umich and it's only offered 4 times a week for an hour each day and they make it so we have to have Friday class (it's only offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday).

I would probably choose 4 classes for 1 hour, only because it's a language and I think it would be more beneficial to practice at multiple times for shorter rather than less times for longer if that makes sense.
