Was scratching my head at the Raiders taking Bowers, (who was not on my radar due to our needs) until I watched his tape, and holy crap! Everyone expected them to either trade up for a QB or take OL or CB at 13, but they went with best player VS need. This guy is a Swiss army knife that adds a dimension to the offense, both in the pass game and run game. Good blocker, powerful, runs like a deer, vertical, great hands, and can be used everywhere. A true 3 down TE.
Definitely makes up for moving on from Renfrow and we could run 2 tight sets, flash run and then pass all game.
As a Dawg fan, you're going to love him. He made watching our games so fun. I wish him huge success with his new team. He will always be a Dawg to me.
I like the Bowers pick, although i would’ve preferred Fuaga or Q Mitchell we went bpa for what seems like the first time ever in our draft history
New era for da RAIDASSS. Far cry from drafting a guy just because he can run and drive fast
as a chargers fan, get used to it. also, dont expect your 3rd-7 round players to be starters. expect random players you never heard about get drafted and expect them to get cut after their rookie contracts are over. thats tt for you

@@sand2sea Telesco always made decent 1st round picks for the most part. It's in rounds 2-7 where telesco sends the season spiraling down the drain. Telesco teams never have any depth

Dallas Turner is a stud, and 4.46 40 at 6'4 240lb edge rusher is nuts. So many elite traits.. You're sleepin.

Definitely an athletic freak, but he needs to get better. Latu and Verse were both higher graded rushers last season. Tho of course those guys are older

I don't agree with Detroit being a winner even if the player seems decent. They just paid to clear up past mistakes that the same poeple made.
Also Vikings gave up quite a lot and got two players who aren't totally convincing.

I would add the Seahawks. I hate it because they always take guys I want, but sitting and grabbing one of the two best defensive players is a great move.
Also I like the mention of the Jags winning. Loved watching Thomas Jr, and he’ll be huge for Lawrence’s future.

Can't agree with the Pats being winners! They need big help in all other areas and we know how risky first round QBs have been in recenty years. Harrison or Alt would have been sure-fire stars for years to come. Maye meh.
So is your logic that, despite it being clear to everyone that you need a decent QB to contend, you should never draft a QB in case they bust? It doesn't make any logical sense.
