The moment Derek died, it was like nothing else mattered, everything just stopped mattering and my life just fell apart, he was everything in my mind and I cried so much and it hurt so bad, it still does even now
I think she has to move on so she was also grieving and can’t forgive him but she has 3 kids left and she has to move on.So she can’t keep doing that u know holding the memories of someone u deeply loved who is gone , it’s killing her she is dying inside.She has to live for the kids! :( it’s sad.😞

OH MY GOD this is absolutely PERFECT. the way you edited all the parallels (the "you won't die" scene is one of my absolute favourites) is just so satisfying and i agree, season 4 deserves more credit for how beautifully it foreshadows what's to come and ties meredith and derek's story so well to ellis and richard's. I’m actually still mad at Meredith for putting away the post it note and scrub cap. I could never do that if I lost my husband.
Everyone heals differently everyone needs to lock away certain things to accept what has happened.
