Koilie how is shadow priest doing overall in raiding and mythic+ wise ? Trying to decide between my spriest and rogue :P honestly spriest so deem fun but keep hearing it is kinda crap damage wise.
Is misery talent worth taking on weeks where it is not tyrannical? Also on tyrannical is mind bender better if you have the mind bender reloc or power infusion? Not to many guides out there about mythic pluses for spriest so figured I would ask
I personally never take misery, but there are some dungeons where it could be quite beneficial to have. PI will obviously be better if the fights going to be shorter time than it takes to get 2 benders out with full duration. So about 2 minutes. under 2 min encounter def could get some big PI love

Maybe late to the topic, but I as well never take misery. It has been said on priest discord to take Misery together with Lege chest and sephuz most of the time beside tyranical, even Public basically told me using twins (my style) is bad. But then I checked with leading Spriest (mythic+ in West) and they all never take misery as well.
Wildfox thanks wild for the info....I tried misery last night just for kicks and I do find it easier to get dots out on mobs especially with it being teeming week. I don't currently to have the chest Leggo but it seems like it would be a nice burst of damage if all adds are dotted up and you go into void form. I don't think I will stick with misery as I feel I lose to much damage on bosses but with it being teeming I actually enjoyed misery and I was able to get so many more dots rolling on multiple adds without worrying if they were falling off.....thank you for your info though always appreciate other people's opinions
Yeah it definitly works well for that. I usually just proc sephuz on a new trash pull and spam my VTs up then pop VF, pain a target with my global before Vbolt then sear hard with just VTs or tab through and put pains uop between VBs if its a really long life pack,
i dont really do a whole lot of raiding this expansion so im only experiencing half of it but some classes burst compared to others are insane. i dont remember it ever being this bad. maybe i just played the strong burst classes before? but its pretty insane. unless the fights is several minutes long you wont catch up with how obscene their burst is. just a little thing bugging me from time to time.
Jhazzrun yeah in progression you have a chance if you have got decent gear drops. As fights get shorter itdoes hurt slow ramp up class like shadow. Shadow is consistent sustained damage which is in general very good but does not work well when many dungeons are designed with things that are too hard or less efficient without burst damage
maybe im just focusing too much on the dps meter. but it grinds me the wrong way when other jump so far ahead and besides raid bosses the fights arent really long enough to catch up. it really puts me off playing shadow priest although i enjoy the class and always have.

Some recent changes gave us more burst and aoe for mythic + its really nice. Similar raid performance and we are good rn
How did you get those abbreviated names for your skills in MSBT. I'v been trying to set mine up but, the custom names I set never show up.
TBH im not sure i have had msbt set up like this for so many years i never go in the settings :(
