Nice job Nate. Should fly well. I have one suggestion... Use small pieces of your scrap foam to squeegee off the excess glue. That will help to reduce weight and also forces glue into the joints to make them stronger!
Nate great to finally see the hanger again all I can say is WOW brother what s collection looks like you might be tight on space good to see you switching it up s bit very impressed hope Abby gets to feeling better God bless
Flitetest is a great way to get into the hobby for cheap. It teaches the importance of building which has been a big part of the hobby from the early days. And it gives you the flexibility to add your preference on electronics whether you want a stabilizer/gryo or not. PLUS, you can decorate your plane however you want. Everyone's FT plane can be a little different and that's ok. It helped me in my journey of getting started and getting over the fear of crashing b/c the material is cheap.
I remember back before the turn of the century. I tried my hand at RC airplanes. Now this is back in the old days where you actually had to be able to fly it. So I spent months gluing balsa wood together fighting with Monaco to get this all together and working and it flew for about 30 seconds😂. I then decided that RC cars was the way to go
Great job of "selfie" camera work. I use the same glue gun (it was my wifes) and glue. You may want to add Gorilla packaging tape, I think it's called "clear duct tape" but it's packaging tape, to your store for larger foam board builds. Pray Abby gets better.
Great to see a build video! I love the fligh test EZ series, they build so quickly and are very foregiving, can take a lot of hits and just glue back together when needed.
Been following you for years. I've seen the rc cars in the shelves but this may be the first ever sight of the RC plane room. Looks great. I like these types of videos. Keep it up!
Not only should you do more build videos like this, I would also like to see how some models are assembled, like the new H9 Cub. If not as a seperate video, at least as a part of the product video.
Firstly awesome video! I love this format and would appreciate more of these style of content. Secondly... give me a call if you are ever having a yard sale to clear some of those models! 😀
Good Job on the build Nate I watch your Channel all the time as well as Flite test. I would like to see a mini warbird build. Thank you to you and Abby for making such great content. God bless you and your family
Hey, I enjoyed your video and I'm an experienced FT model builder. It took me about 3 builds to figure out that I was using too much glue and doing too much reinforcement in my builds. My early models were needlessly heavy and didn't fly to their full potential due to the over-building.
WOW!! This is gonna be FUN!! ...Pure JOY for me!! GREAT job Nate on the presentation/editing!! Now off to the airfield!! Thanks Saylors for the VERY helpful video... it felt live!! 💟👍😎
Great video. I’m just getting into the hobby and seeing the builds and some of the setup and terminology explained is helpful. Like your channel. Keep up the good work.
Happy New Year .. Thanks for sharing the build & your great on the fly video .. I definitely think more vids from the Batcave would be great & handy for you when weather is rough outside 😀❄️
This is a very affordable way to try 3 different planes out and learn the basics of aviation! Although you don’t have a TON of control authority in the air, it gets the job done. Just seeing something you’ve built, come to life is always very rewarding! 👍💯😎⚓️
Hey Nate and Abby! Was curious, after seeing Nate’s hangar in the most recent video. Do you guys ever sell any of your aircraft? I really want hat appears to be a Stearman behind you with number 44 on the rear fuse. Thank you guys for your channel! It makes me smile!
What kind of gray pad are you using to keep the glue off of the table? I hope the instructions are as good as you showed us. I guess the hot glue will not short out the circuit board.
Our FAA apparently can’t even identify these UFOs buzzing around, lol. Obviously we are going to tell you to follow all of their “rules” but unfortunately we aren’t in (and never will be) a position to tell others what those “rules” are or aren’t. IMO, if they want you to know “rules” they made up for toys, they should tell you! Never forget that you employ them, so never hesitate to call your employees who want to regulate you! 😁❤️💯⚓️

They don’t live far from us, and it’s great to know that they manufacture 100% of the foam in the U.S. and they design and laser cut at the FT HQ which feeds their family and even employs a handful of people! I’m more than happy to answer any other questions you might have about how this works, and am always happy to hear feedback good or bad. Happy Flying! -Nate 💯⚓️
