The way we keep companies from monopolizing this is allowing them to collect data but training data gathered for AI training must either be seen as public domain (like computer coding languages) or we as consumers need ways to publicly harvest this data from our devices and have it posted to a public server maintained by open source groups. Otherwise we will keep making them better as they take more and more from the consumer then monetize the data they harvested from us. This will result in the listening of every facet of your life. Right now as I type this message there are people paying a monthly subscription for the heated seats in their cars. It’s no longer a feature you purchased when you paid for the car but it is a feature you can subscribe for. This will happen with everything in our lives. Want to wake up and make some coffee? You’ll need the subscription to get your favorite coffee from your coffee maker otherwise the free version of coffee will be bland.
The last two minutes is just like something I've been thinking about for the past few days (personal AIs to solve dating, restaurants, social gatherings, etc.) and I'm glad to see other people see the potential
