I've never felt bad for a spider.
But there's a first for everything.
That's why I refuse to date a wasp, and I've had many chances to, believe me. I can't stand for using innocent spiders like that.

I've killed a scorpion wasp with a coin once. Fucker started screaming and for 0.2 seconds I felt bad for it until I saw the needle

Ahnaf Mannan if you wanna go the extra mile, the wasps that prey on caterpilars inject their eggs inside the poor fellas, with the larvaes (yes plural) growing inside while the caterpillar is still alive, and the wasps sure do burst out Alien style.

Nothing, unless the chemicals are poisonous. Humans most likely don't have any reaction to these hormones, unless the same ones are already in use for some bodily mechanism. In that case the mechanism would be triggered, but that would likely not have significant negative effects.
Either way, the difference in body mass would mean that the chemical's concentration in the human body would be diluted close to nothingness when compared to a spider's body.

I know exactly what's happening. The larve isn't "mind controlling" anything. The spider is sensing a foreign body on it and its last ditch effort in order to survive is to try and molt. This is the reason why it creates the exact same type of molting web it normally uses, but the reason why it is reinforced is because it knows it's carrying extra weight and has to account for that extra weight because during the molting process it will be powerless to fix any type of damage created to the web. Of course, the whole process is futile. The larve has already won because it's lodged deep into the abdomen and the molting process fails.

I think the larvae convinces the spider that it's mass is larger & therefore needs a stronger web due to size increasing the duration of the molt

Ok when the wasp larvae eats the spider before it pupates, that was a nasty fucking sound effect.
Maybe just maybe the larvae doesn't control the spider but the spider notices the excessive weight and decides to reinforce its spider web. Then becomes so exhausted that she goes to the middle to rest and is slowly sucked dry..

How the venom of the Wasp takes control of the spider, then makes it do its bidding, only to kill it later is kind of dark. And all of this is completely out of the spider's control.
