- We went to Birmingham to meet the members of the Reform party, certain they're at the beginning of a political movement that will sweep Nigel Farage into Downing Street.

So this woman went through university, was apparently left-wing and then found herself voting for Reform due to the rise of Donald Trump. So she was radicalised. Got it.
She said she was left wing then was disillussioned with the media and became right wing. Imo the media is right wing so i dont get how you can be disillusioned with media and move far right

What you can see from his comment was that he believes they are teaching secondary school topics to primary school kids, which is the misinformation that’s being pushed and never gets challenged by mainstream media.
Many of these people are indeed thick as mince. They operate almost entirely on feelings with little capacity for critical thinking or logic.
Not suitable for children, and it's taught to children in order to corrupt, subvert and pervert them. It's political indoctrination not education.
My favourite was “this is happening in schools!” With no evidence, then when challenged that “isn’t it just teaching kids that some people have two dads?” He says “I’ll have to see it to believe it!”
It’s utterly baffling that he accepts bigotry with no evidence, but reality needs evidence???
He said gay rights were long overdue not are overdue, they got their rights years ago.

It is adorable that they think they're going to win. Like watching an excited child telling you about how excited they are for their birthday or Christmas.
To address a few points.
One lady went to University to not be radicalised, only to then be radicalised by Donald Trump and now blames immigrants for high rent, but greedy landlords. This same person thinks being a tomboy means you have to be transgender.
One man objects to something being taught in schools that isn't being taught in schools.
Another man joined Reform because he wanted to get to more votes than we would as in independent. He also supports nationalising the public utilities, which last I checked was primarily a Green policy.
And finally, another man thinks it's fair that Nigel isn't going to Clacton because he's busy growing the party, despite the fact he;s been jetting off to other countries, and not campaigning for the party.
The guy talking about things being taught in schools which aren’t also had the absolute blinder of saying he’d have to see it to believe it… so he’d have to see something not happening to believe it? I feel like he might already have seen that not happening tbh!
all your points are correct, except the first one. if labour party continue down the path of punitive austerity measures and the tory party hasnt got its act together before next election, reform may well gain a shocking number of seats.
in fact, we should all be collectively thanking farage for being off in USA because him not actively pushing the rerform party is probably the biggest thing holding them back. A competent leader would be on every news show talking (lying) about how he'd protect pensioners getting cold and how he would never accept gifts etc.

That said, you seem to be one of those who consider the Tories to be left wing so I doubt anything other than blind praise of Reform will be considered unbiased- the BBC are objectively one of the better news sources in the country, far better than GB news, which literally hires politicians as its presenters

Many of these people are indeed thick as mince. They operate almost entirely on feelings with little capacity for critical thinking or logic. It's very simple to confuse them by trying to guide them through a thought process to a logical outcome, but it's an outcome which contradicts something else they are emotional about, so their confusion is resolved by voting for people who are angry about the same things that confuse them.
You see one of the women in this video comparing being "a tom boy" with gender dysphoria. She thinks it's the same thing. It's the same kind of stuff the Tories peddle.

I voted Reform but to say they’ll win the next election is absolutely ludicrous. Especially in a First Past the Post system.
They won FIVE seats while the Tories won 121 (and the Tories still finished 2nd, getting absolutely thumped by Labour).
What surprised me most was the measured response from the guy at the end. Maybe we will be seeing more of him, or maybe he is not enough of a "loon" for Reform.
