Hi Carla, thanks for doing this awesome video, and sharing your story about your Mom and Dad.. So sorry they suffered, with heart disease and COPD. So proud of you for quitting smoking!! I never smoked, but, watched my family and of course Rick struggle for years. I never smoked, I remember my Dad like you say coughing up a lung every morning, I was young, but remember sitting there crying every morning listening to him, and when he got his breath, he would tell me, don't ever smoke, your ugly enough, if you ever do find a man, do you think he will stay with you when you cough like this! I did have a friend that I worked with and her husband had COPD as well as other issues, and she would tell me every day how hard it was, my heart goes out to you!! You made you Mom and Dad proud, taking care of them and sharing their story and I love your orange COPD awareness look!

I’m sorry for the pain of your folks. My husband had ipf right now we are going through it. Roller coaster journey for sure. I do some shorts and a video and now and then trying to keep up. My husband not a smoker but did heavy equipment operator so prolly dirt or something from. The war. We just never know what ppl might be carry on thier heart. Hugs to you 👍

Yes COPD is very ugly and my dad passed away December 11th 2021 from COPD. I didn't know orange was the color .....that's the same color as CRPS (rare pain disease) which is what I have.
