Earthquake lightning depends on the amount of quartz in the ground. If there is an abundance of quartz in the ground and prone to earthquakes you will see earthquake lightning.

This script is so damned condescending and ignorant. False authority as a 'science fan' at best. It makes fun of Native history relating to scientific records (and they often match) and adds erroneous false inflammatory accusations about people they don't like personally while not even realizing that in doing so it makes them appear even weaker than they already are. My 'personal advice' (it will be ignored, of course) is that you stick to a more neutral approach to fascinating topics of science and nature and drop the snarky political attacks and 'holier than thou' staunch nose-thumbing drivel. You sound like one of those 'bankers' who tell the scientists what they are 'allowed' to study or you threaten to cut their funding off completely, leaving the world very dark, ignorant, and forever living 100 years behind its true potential, which saves lives (and harms 'governments').
