- September 2014: It was during their first visit to Africa, in the capital city of Dakar (Senegal) that Larry and Laurent Bourgeois, of LES TWINS shared their views with UN Women, the United Nations Entity for gender equality and the empowerment of Women on the issue of advancing women and girls rights. As part of the #HeForShe Campaign.

Their comments on the problem were supportive and carefully worded, especially Laurents. I'm not quite sure I understood Larry's comments at 3:05, and why did Laurent look upset when Larry started to speak at this exact moment? Sometimes, I get the impression that Laurent is worried that Larry is going to say something too bold because Larry tends to speak his mind regardless of what people think :) Either way I think it's great that they are using their amazing talent to always spread a positive message!!! Love em' both!
i am so proud of this interview its amazing and very well said from both Larry and Laurent. American males dont have that concept and i dont know why but thank you for your support and letting us see that there are still real men who can stand up and admit whats real and still be strong in doing so.😢

I'm so glad yall respect women and understand what we go though and so many roles we have to play and responsibilities we have in life as a whole. Women just want to be cherished and respected.

Cheryle Crawford No, not for me b/c I knew about her for along time now. But when I found out at first it made me love him even more b/c we know how much they love kids. It was an aawww moment.
watching this video, made me smile. i get that every man is not the same but majority of them are and to hear and read the expressions on their faces on such a topic with them in the new lifestyle they're breathing is different. i felt that they meant if not just a bit but the entirety of what they have said

Why are you so concerned about who they take to bed is the question. Those girls don't even respect themselves, all they want is one night with a famous guy anyway but you're laying blame solely on Laurent and Larry. I fail to see how them having sex compares to their opinion about domestic violence or what that had to do with this video? Let's be honest here, they're young 26 yr olds, famous, attractive, talented, and have good personalities, and to add to that French? Lol if they're protecting themselves it's none of our business.
Aida A No, I definitely agree on that. It's not okay in my opinion either, but I have to be realistic about how society is as well. Just because I have certain morals doesn't mean other people share my same beliefs.

+Shakran Foye Both have children, they are even about the same age (both about 4-5 years old now). Larry's daughter is Lilo, Laurent's is Maelina. Lau doesn't like to talk about her, though.

I don't know what is wrong with some of their fans. Like they believe that LT are absolutely perfect and only waiting for them to get married or what. They have their lives, pretty wild lives, you should be happy that you are not part of it.

+Lena Smith No, please trust me, i KNOW she is his daughter. And she doesn't live with LT family, she lives with her mother in Portugal. And if you look at the pictures, you can even see they have the same eyes. She is his child and he doesn't deny it, he just doesn't talk about it. Or look into his eyes how he stared at her when he was holding her as a new-born baby (and Larry was making pics of them). They love babies, but this is way different and it's obvious even from the pics - even if you know nothing about it. I also know he doesn't pay alimony regularly, Maelina's mom wrote about this a lot when she was active on FB.

No. It wouldn't mean so. Take note: they have sisters who "converted", meaning that the sisters weren't Muslims originally. Hence, it would most likely mean Les Twins were not born Muslims too :)
