Harry often talks about how the weight in a racquet feels like it’s moving from “here to here” during the swing. Maybe that’s what Chris means; or he’s got confused by Harry voodoo.
i bought an 18x20. head speed pro to be exact... really struggling getting used to it actually...cant get my strings dialed in. i hit a hard ball in the 110's on the serve, tried a synthetic/poly setup, hated it. solinco tour soft at 52lbs way better but still not what im looking for... cant get any spin still. i do love flattening out shots when going for a winner but i feel like i have to hit all of my rally shots very flat and take pace off of my swing to keep the ball in the court since i dont have the spin... any recommendations for strings or tension change?
I loved the Speed Pro when i demo'd it but week in, week out it was a bit too much racquet for me. Didn't try tons of strings but got on with Kirschbaum Super Smash 1.23 mains and Head Velocity 1.25 crosses; I string low tension (sub 45) for comfort due to previous elbow issues. Nevertheless, the Speed Pro hasn't been back on court since I bought a Speed MP as I seemed to need that little bit of extra help all round.
@@marcovela4074 thanks for the repy, but i do think i may have made a mistake going for the 18x20, ive been playing 16x19 for all of my tennis life which is the better part of 25 years... im just not playing as well with it
@@andrewlee9111 yea i definitely cant generate as much speed as nadal....what normal human can. THIS I WILL DEFINITELY try before going back to 16x19. I get my racket restrung once a week so its no big deal. thanks for your reply.
Always appreciate your videos Harry and team!
Have a great weekend.
Cheers,
M
Harry, how did you guys compare the racquet to the Wilson Shift 18x20?
Their vids are COMMERCIALS , THEY LOVED IT AS USUAL
Curious as to why coach Gu chose the 16 x 19 versus 18 x 20?
Honestly, this is a great racquet. I’m shocked, this is the best one ever. Literally.
I’ve been demoing one and I think I’m going to buy it - I can’t fault it in any way
What is the power comparison versus V8 blade 18x20?
What strings did you use?
The ball retains well. ?. Weight Distribution is good (what does that mean?). Other racquets' weight is all over the place (what does that mean?)

i never really liked 18x20 racquets but i think i might try this one to see how it feels for me 🤔
Try rpm blast 17g - 47lbs

just by reading ur comment i can probably say with some confidence that its your swing and not ur racket

Put a shaped poly in it. It’s also not the best racket for big flat serves

Funny how some people are criticizing the vid. I’d like to see some of their vids and reviews to see if they can do any better.
Nice vid.
Notice how These guys never reply on any of the comments made about their vids?
What is the Point when you say the 18x20 feels like 16x19? Then the Racket is not working. The 18x20 should feel different to the 16x19!
...talking trash....if you need spin - use your wrist...
