How cool that Bobby drove all the way from LA to hunt you up out in the middle of nowhere. It's the kindness of strangers that inspires me the most during your journey as well as the beauty of the places you have visited.
Hehe, I thought the same. I guess we live in such a throw it away society now that most people think nothing about buying a new tent every couple of years even though we may of only used it for a month or two in total. A sad reflection upon the world indeed.
I just found this channel. Apart from the obvious incredible unicycling, I find your videography and narration to be refined beyond reason. Your long shots of you disappearing around a winding road, the informative and non-repetitive dialog, that epic night sky star trails clip, everything. I salute you.
My grandfather walked up the California coast along the el Camino Real to visit each of the California missions. It’s a days walk from each one of you leave early and arrive late. one of his lengths of trail went through a military base and after talking to someone they let him walk thru. Though I’m not sure where this happened. thanks for your interesting video, it’s brought this cool memory back.
I'm only 15, but watching this makes me want to do something like this. It's so inspiring to see someone take on a journey like this, without any planning. Just doing it. I love the editing and the way these videos are set up. Good luck on everything man.
I did it the summer after high school and by myself if you were wondering . It is an amazing experience. I’d say get a job and save money while your with your parents! And by the time your 18 you’ll feel more independent and interested.
Finally, It's been years since I have said the word "Epic". So many use the word when it is not warranted/earned. Ed, you and your travels are absolutely EPIC! And your candor around strangers is appreciated. Roll on!!

Sometimes in life there will be times where you will be all alone (miles and miles and nobodys there) and all you can do is keep pushing... or pedaling forward. Love this.
I meet a guy who biked around the world. I put him up for a few days. He was finishing his world tour by riding a rickshaw that he got from the King of Pakistan across Canada back to Halifax from where he started. I finally get an idea of what that would like by watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your excellent adventure.
Greg and Bobby are so cool! Crazy to see that no matter where you go in the world people are kind and the night sky is beautiful. It’s one of those great examples that makes you realize we’re all just people who are in this together trying to survive. I’m sure your entire trip has given you so much perspective and it’s sweet that you got to do it at such a young age! I hope this series blows up man, I’m absolutely sharing it everywhere cause you deserve it.
