I LOVE horse camping and you have some very cool items. I love your lanterns especially the ones that can be solar charged. Also I love that you have reusable cups and silverware and plates and your stacking pans are cool. I have a buddy heater also and love it and have learned to have a full 20 gallon propane tank. I have 2 butane stove tops and I like that they are separate so if I only need I’ve I’m not taking a large camping 2 burner stove out. And also sometimes on the 2 burner the pits and pans don’t fit that well close to each other. So I have 2 separate ones. But I see you tent camp and that is so much stuff to bring and set up and take down then pack up and store and weather can be a big problem. I have never slept well on a cot and air mattresses never work. And I like more room than a sleeping bag. And I like my clothes to be more organized Then in a bag. If somthing is on the bottom it is a pain! And I like a clean, dry space with a real bed and solid walls where I don’t worry about weather. And I like to be as plastic free as possible so I do not pack my ore made food in plastic but instead reusable silicone zip lock bags or containers. I have a small battery operated fridge and and a solar panel to charge the battery. My fridge also has usb ports for charging. I love my 3 gallon refillable water bottle with a usb rechargeable spout. It’s the same as 24 plastic water bottles. I use all reusable dishes and cups and silverware. I have a 25 gallon corner water tank and a 30 gallon under my gooseneck. And speaking of gooseneck I love my gooseneck trailer ! It had a real queen bed and real bedding and I have great storage steps from ikea and all my clothes go into one set like drawers and my cookware and food stuff in the other set. I have hooks all over the inside for hanging stuff and a paper town holder on the wall. I cannot go a day without showering! Especially with sunblock, bug spray, sweat and dust on me. I have2 solar shower and a small folding pool I stand in on the inside of my horse area. Along with my flushable porta potty. Since I have a 3 horse gooseneck with only 1 horse I have plenty of room and I never have to leave my trailer in the middle of the night to go potty. And if weather is bad I can cook back there. I can set up a folding g table with my cooktops on it. I make and bring all my own food and use everything reusable and washable. My toiletries are plastic free also. I have shampoo and conditioner bars and a body bar, toothpaste tablets in a reusable tin and a bamboo toothbrush, I have a refillable deodorant and refillable sunscreen. My dish soap is also a bar and I use natural sponges and wooden scrub brushes. All my cooking utensils are bamboo or metal and no plastic. I actually do not create any trash so I do not bring a trash bag. I have a small bin and I rinse all my reusable food containers put them in the bin and bring them home to wash in the dishwasher. All my camping gear and bedding and cookware and toiletries and even clothes I have just for camping stay in my trailer all the time. No packing up besides fresh food and making sure my water tanks and propane are filled. And horse camping is usually a several hour trip away from home and a gooseneck is safer and smoother for the horses especially on long trips. My dream is to own a small 2 horse LQ someday with an air conditioner and real bathroom with shower. I have my own strong portable pen. I have learned many places I go don’t have trees where I park and tying my horse to my trailer where they can get caught Uber and I would feel every move is not an option for me. A pen similar to the one at home is the safest. And I have a rolling bale bag. It keeps my hay dry and clean and no mess when I open the bale.

oh this brings back memories. It would take a week to prepare for a week camping with 2 children and 2 horses. We even had a hoop greenhouse that we would bring to store hay, saddles, van seats and if it poured we would all hunker down in the greenhouse and it was awesome. So much fun.

Love it!!! Do you ever camp more...rustickly? Do you ever camp without a campground base? If so, a vid on that would be awesome too. Also, can you talk about footing? Do you train for camping and trail riding? If I missed a vid on that already, sorry. ❤

These are great video ideas, Thank you!! We have yet to do hard core packing in camping but I will definitely video it when we do. 👍🏼 training-wise we just gradually go longer, harder, more often on trails. Camping - it’s best to start close to home with another horse or group at a horse campground, start easy. If you’re concerned about footing, boots are a popular choice. 🤠👍🏼 Doing more vids on this so stay tuned, thanks for your comment!

On using those Mr. Buddy heaters with a tank and hose: Make sure that the elbow that swings out that you attach the hose to is straight up and down when you are burning. If it is at an angle the joint heats up and can light the plastic shell around it on fire which then melts your hose and starts a propane fire in an enclosed space. I found this out the hard way when ice fishing in a popup with one of these. When I contacted the company they said the joint needs to be straight up and down as if a bottle was in there or it can do exactly what it did to me.

Can anyone please recommend any other channels like Stephanie's? I really love this channel but it hasn't got very many videos just yet, so soon I will have seen them all. I love this type of horsey content. And I'm not asking for recommendations with any of these specifics I'm about to go on about. Just any good horsey channel recommendations please!
But I especially love watching stuff like this of down to earth horsey people, especially strong women out there living the dream, trucking and riding and caring for their own horse and sharing it all with us. I love watching ALL of it, every aspect of horse ownership.
My dream is to do what Stephanie does basically. Be a horse owner again one day. But would have to use stable facilities like her and truck to riding destinations and would have to do alot of the work all on my own. Being the only horse person in my family.
So seeing just every day people not necessarily people with multi million dollar stables and horses and high level competing and all that, (which is alot of what I get when just searching horsey content on here) honestly standards unattainable for the average horse loving girl who sees what Stephanie is doing as her more realistic dream for the future, so love seeing every day people who own like one horse and are actually out there living and doing my dream, showing how it is doable, strong women showing all aspects to non billionaire horse ownership and good kind riding in the modern world of right now, my true dream of horse ownership.
Please any recommendations of inspirational chanels like this for me to watch while I work towards this dream life goal.

No way would I tent camp. I like to be able to lock my self and m stuff up safely I also do t like to take up room in my garage to store a tent , cot, sleeping bag and bins of stuff. And what do you do for a bathroom? I love my gooseneck horse trailer and so does my horse! It’s safer and smoother then a bumper pull and had the added bonus of a dressing area that is insulated, has a sleeping platform where I have a queen bed and 2 windows with screens and a roof vent. I a propane camping fridge. I also pre make my meals and put them in washable silicone zip lock bags that don’t leak. I line to be zero waste in my life as much as possible and having a fridge helps. I can store my food in containers I take home and wash and I do r have ice in wasteful plastic bags. We have a refillable 3 gallon water bottle with a usb rechargeable faucet for drinking water and washing water. We use wooden scrub brushes and natural sponges for cleaning. I only use the larger propane tanks for cooking or heat that I can refill or change out no little green ones that cannot be refilled or exchanged and just end up in a landfill. I have wooden storage steps in my gooseneck wit drawers to store clothes, toiletries and cookware. No plastic bins that will end up in a landfill when they crack. I love that all this stuff stays in my trailer and I only need to pack up fresh food. So my set up is really easy. I get to have a real bed with sheets and bedding. I do love your insulated mugs and solar light. I have those things also. I have a solar shower and porta potty I set up in my horse area. I have a portable pen that is stored on the side of my trailer. My horse always has a safe stall no matter where we are at. All my tack fits in my back collapsible tack. I have a 30 gallon water tank under my gooseneck and a 39 coroner water tank in my dressing room and an additional 18 gallon corner water tank in my first stall. I always have plenty of water for me and my horse. I have a bale bag with wheels that carry’s a whole bale of hay and keeps in neat, clean and dry. I use slow feed hay nets and have mine prefilled. I have enough hay for a week. I love that I can lock myself in safely at night and I have a bed, storage and water and a fridge and I bring a propane stove top and a buddy heater and a folding table and chairs and I’m ready to camp safely. Since we produce no trash because even my toiletries are zero waste I have a bamboo toothbrush and toothpaste tablets, soap, shampoo and conditioner bars and deodorant in cardboard tubes I have zero waste and nothing to throw away bee use towels for cleaning up and I have a laundry basket in my truck no just bring everything home to wash. As well as all my food storage. I use bamboo cutlery or metal utensils I wash. I also have a French press for coffee and I bake my own muffins and granola bars and have them wrapped in beeswax. I bring apples orange and bananas and premade dips and get chips in a paper bag from a local restaurant as well as our tortillas. All my juices come in glass bottles no plastic for me. And we fill our insulated water bottles from our 3 gallon water bottle. I have a dry , insulated cozy space that locks and keeps me comfortable in any weather I don’t worry about wind or rain.

Those electrolytes tabs are a waste of money. Unless you personally are actively hiking, you don't need them especially you got a horse to carry actual food and not mountain house meals.

Plus, if you are actively hiking, you can make you're own. Just mix 1 tsp of baking soda, 250 mg of magnesium (half a tab), 1/2 of salt, and 1/2 of potassium chloride, mix with 2 liters to a gallon of water for taste. Dont mix with those naturally flavored water flavor squirt stuff (whatever theyre called).
