the crowd is just terrible, u can cheer but u dont boo someone.. oh my..
That is exactly what I was thinking. The reason is that the crowd isn't accustomed to table tennis etiquette, I noticed the same during the gymnastics competitions, not that they were booing someone, but they kept cheering as if it was a football match which can be destructive for the athletes performing in that moment.
The first time I see Joo win 3-0 😅 but his game is the best!!!

As a offensive player I am big fan of legend Jo se huek
Listening to this match recording reminded me of how tough that early-40+ plastic ball era was for defenders. Less spin, higher bounce, atrocious durability, and even the sound the ball made was wrong! The current crop of 40+ plastic balls are better (though not better than 40mm cellulose, which was also cheaper even accounting for inflation).

It seems calderano have difficulty on chopper like jsh and kang dongsoo.
His style doesn't work on defensive players because he relies on his smashes to not come back. He makes too many unforced errors to reliably defeat defenders.
Guys Joo Sae-Hyuk is not just a Chopper. He is probably the best Chopper of all time. It's not a shame to lose to such a legend of the Sport

You seem to have good connections to be able to get and upload all the video material of the past and I was wondering if you ever thought, if possible and in your interest, about building a "Museum of Table Tennis Defence" with other Choppers like Koji Matsushita, Chtchetinine, Chen Weixing, Hou Yingchao (one of my personal idols), Gionis, Wang Xi, Masato Shiono, ... 🤔
Thank you for the comment! Indeed I had a lot of Joo Sae-hyuk videos, maybe it's the most complete collection up to now, but that costs me several years to find and also lots of money. I don't have the ambition to make videos for every defensive player as you suggested😢the main goal in the next two years will be focusing on Joo's matches. But I do have some rare and exciting footage of other choppers, so I also plan to upload them occasionally.
