Carter's Freetraders are aggressively overpowered logistically - the ships replace your entire logistics backbone and become the must-have for any fleet, which in turn allows you to field much stronger fleets at longer ranges than vanilla. That's arguably better than aggressively overpowered combat ships, but it's worth noting for the conversation at least.
The problem is I never played vanilla at all hahah , I just can't without 30 mods , I miss my badrock faction and an actual radar mod , Diable Avionics is part of vanilla for me ,great job man

would be nice to have some visualization during the video (like the rating when you speak about the faction), maybe even a summary at the end of the faction and/or the video with all the ratings/notes. Also timestamps to jump between factions. Otherwise good summary, the mic could use some tweaking though (has a bit of echo and isn't as clear). Subbed
Nice vid my man. Even though I disagree with some points, you still did a great work! If you are open to the feedback I'd like to say that vid is just way too long. The main reason for that is all the things that go into the category of "Underprepared". You've done a titanic work by analyzing all these mods, nonetheless. But lots of stutters, hummings and translations between tabs and reopening them made the video a lot longer, than in could be. Try cutting them out of the vid or just getting rid of them during the preparation process. Bringing more structure to the video and cutting out all unnecessary stuff will make the vid a lot more popular, I believe. Still absolutely worthy of a like, keep up the good work!
i generally use about 15-25 faction mods, in addition to some misc mods. If you use enough factions it all tends to even out in the end. Theres a few standout OP ones though which look great but yeah, far and away better then anything else you might come across.

You know what could really really make your vid better? Timestamps! It's this magical almost non-existent thing called FUN, balance doesn't matter in a single player game. Starsector is like skyrim, i can't play it without mods.

It's pathetic. Normally I'd just deal with the consequences if there wasn't an option to force a disengage with an SP. However, the fact the modder had the actual fucking gall to try subverting the one mechanic that is subverted nowhere else in the game is sufficient reason to break out the command console and just erase the precious little waifu's vengeance fleet.

I found the bugs to be an incredible threat, the hull regen is so fast if they back off at all they come back at full health.
