In Jan 2020 I bought the Sony CX-405 Camcorder and the battery lasted me 3 years 5 months. Tomorrow I have to buy a new one.

That doesn't seem like a very long time. My BX1 batteries from my HX90V that I bought in 2017 are still going strong.
