Honestly the impact SNSD has on the kpop world is untouchable they really paved the road for all female idols. Not only because of their talent but because has a group they went through so much they are truly the definition of being best friends with your band mates and no other girl group will compare!

Ohmygod. I was also like that. Probably been months on my recomendation after I finally watched it and here I am bawling my eyes out and now planning to start over again. Jessica was ready to launch her fashion career & SM supported it. They were even allowing her to continue with SNSD. The members were ok with it too...but some of their parents weren't. Idol's parents apparently have a large influence on group activities & solo careers as well, so they complained about it. Divine was written as Jessica's hiatus song. She was gonna take time off while her company launched, but then she backed out of that shortly before the song released. The members weren't happy with Jessica being all wishy-washy, so they basically "forced" her out. The meet-&-greet Jessica says she was no longer able to attend happened because some of the members told her that if she attended it, they wouldn't show up. They weren't trying to kick her out, they just wanted her to make a decisive decision, & her waffling between fashion & music was really getting to them, so they forced her to make a decision. They were the ones who started everything. If it wasn’t for them we would have all the groups we adore now, twice, nct, etc. Like sooyoung said, GG was like their hometown. They’ve been with eachother since elementary. They stayed together for 10 years 😌.And they never thought of disbanding too. They don’t even call themselves best friends. They call eachother and treat eachother like sisters. I can’t believe I’ve been stabbing them since I was 5. Randomly scrolling on yt and seeing “ the boys “ and was like damn this shit is good. Now 8 years later I am now 13 I’ve never felt so proud of myself being able to follow them on their journey. I never regretted watching the first SNSD MV I saw in UA-cam, GEE. I never regret stanning this beautiful souls. This video just proves what is and who is the KOREAN NATION'S GIRL GROUP. Their hardship and hardwork in everything they do.. when they were bashed before and just after their debut, even experienced a black ocean, they still didn't give up showing their best for their fans. Even if boy groups are more common, they still conquered Korea and later the World with their wit, charms and talents, showing what girls can also show, giving way to girl groups, giving way to the rise of GIRLS' GENERATION just like their name. And the tragic 093014, when a member left not so beautifully. Yet, they stayed strong even if people bashed them for non-factual rumors of them kicking their own member, even if their own fans doubt them. That's why I can never really understand how people can hate these wonderful human beings. I'm just glad they withstood all those problems and challenges TOGETHER for the last 10 years. Staying true to our chant.. right now, SNSD, in the future SNSD, forever SNSD. And we SONEs will always be here for them now, always and forever.

The way SNSD never stops developing really encourages us to stay strong no matter what happens. It's really horrible to mention the black ocean again, but they managed to get over it, and became one of the most legendary groups ever. 10 years passed. We're getting older and more mature. So are our girls. They're women's generation now. Everything will come to an end, not except for our 9 beloved girls. But, whenever they reunite, you and I - and other SONEs will definitely be here waiting for them. I talk a little bit too much. Hope that this comeback will be successful. I started supporting them since I was in elementary. I am now in college. My love for them hasnt changed. I’m still that gradeschooler jumping in joy whenever K see them. 2010 I heard about K-pop for the first time, I listened to their music but it never crossed my heart. Then 1 day on August my sister who loves yonghwa cnblue shows me a video of the girl she hate bcz she married to yonghwa. When I look at that video (gee) I saw yoona winked n it capture my heart, and when I listen to it, it crossed my heart for the first time I fall in love with 9 girl. 2014 it really break my heart bcz I just knew this 9 angel n now it becomes 8. I wish I knew them more earlier so I can get enough of the 9, my heart can't take it. But now I realized that no matter how many times or how long I know them, it never is enough. The word 'enough' can't exist when it comes to them, I want more.. As time flies there is a new group but none of them cross my heart like snsd did. It's like a magic that only happens once. I never care about K-pop but I care about snsd. The only group that I know their whole member, their faces n their names. I guess I can only fall in love once n since I only have one heart I can't help but to love them till the end.

That's true. Jessica never planned to leave, even after Tokyo Dome. She renewed her contract for more 3 years just like the others, which means she should have stayed until 2017 and she launched Blanc Eclare in August, so she could focus more on it because SNSD was having no comeback at that time. The thing about her leaving after Tokyo Dome were lies from "insiders" who don't even have evidences.

Jessica was ready to launch her fashion career & SM supported it. They were even allowing her to continue with SNSD. The members were ok with it too...but some of their parents weren't. Idol's parents apparently have a large influence on group activities & solo careers as well, so they complained about it.
Divine was written as Jessica's hiatus song. She was gonna take time off while her company launched, but then she backed out of that shortly before the song released. The members weren't happy with Jessica being all wishy-washy, so they basically "forced" her out.
The meet-&-greet Jessica says she was no longer able to attend happened because some of the members told her that if she attended it, they wouldn't show up.
They weren't trying to kick her out, they just wanted her to make a decisive decision, & her waffling between fashion & music was really getting to them, so they forced her to make a decision. Was it in the best way it could've gone, no.

They were the ones who started everything. If it wasn’t for them we would have all the groups we adore now, twice, nct, etc. Like sooyoung said, GG was like their hometown. They’ve been with eachother since elementary. They stayed together for 10 years 😌.And they never thought of disbanding too. They don’t even call themselves best friends. They call eachother and treat eachother like sisters. I can’t believe I’ve been stabbing them since I was 5. Randomly scrolling on yt and seeing “ the boys “ and was like damn this shit is good. Now 8 years later I am now 13 I’ve never felt so proud of myself being able to follow them on their journey. I’m happy they are all being able to do what they’ve always wanted to do but, I want a comeback atleast with ot9 or ot8. And it’s 2020 now. Maybe it’ll bring us good luck 🧧❤️🥺😔

I've been a fan since 2009, then I suddenly stopped being into kpop so much in 2011 but I'm glad I've found my way home again, my home, SNSD. I never regretted watching the first SNSD MV I saw in UA-cam, GEE. I never regret stanning this beautiful souls. This video just proves what is and who is the KOREAN NATION'S GIRL GROUP. Their hardship and hardwork in everything they do.. when they were bashed before and just after their debut, even experienced a black ocean, they still didn't give up showing their best for their fans. Even if boy groups are more common, they still conquered Korea and later the World with their wit, charms and talents, showing what girls can also show, giving way to girl groups, giving way to the rise of GIRLS' GENERATION just like their name. And the tragic 093014, when a member left not so beautifully. Yet, they stayed strong even if people bashed them for non-factual rumors of them kicking their own member, even if their own fans doubt them. That's why I can never really understand how people can hate these wonderful human beings. I'm just glad they withstood all those problems and challenges TOGETHER for the last 10 years. Staying true to our chant.. right now, SNSD, in the future SNSD, forever SNSD. And we SONEs will always be here for them now, always and forever.
Lol. Same here. I got into K-Pop and GG in 2009 through, of all things, my like for J-Rock and Visual Kei at the time. I also more or less fell out K-Pop until 2014 when I was brought back into it and I have never forgotten the love and camaraderie that is SNSD.

This makes me happy and sad. Seeing how successful they are and loving with each other makes my heart jump but with Jessica's departure it broke my heart. Groups have ups and downs and i'm sure time will come that they will be all ok with each other again. That someday they will tell us what really happened. That they will be back as 9 and perform their good old songs again. The way SNSD never stops developing really encourages us to stay strong no matter what happens. It's really horrible to mention the black ocean again, but they managed to get over it, and became one of the most legendary groups ever. 10 years passed. We're getting older and more mature. So are our girls. They're women's generation now. Everything will come to an end, not except for our 9 beloved girls. 2010 I heard about K-pop for the first time, I listened to their music but it never crossed my heart.
Then 1 day on August my sister who loves yonghwa cnblue shows me a video of the girl she hate bcz she married to yonghwa. When I look at that video (gee) I saw yoona winked n it capture my heart, and when I listen to it, it crossed my heart for the first time I fall in love with 9 girl.
2014 it really break my heart bcz I just knew this 9 angel n now it becomes 8. I wish I knew them more earlier so I can get enough of the 9, my heart can't take it.
But now I realized that no matter how many times or how long I know them, it never is enough. The word 'enough' can't exist when it comes to them, I want more..
As time flies there is a new group but none of them cross my heart like snsd did. It's like a magic that only happens once. I never care about K-pop but I care about snsd. The only group that I know their whole member, their faces n their names. I guess I can only fall in love once n since I only have one heart I can't help but to love them till the end.

I don’t know why but I can feel that the 9 of them together, their friendship is very real. It’s quite sad that she was forced to leave but I’m sure they’re still in contact. That's true. Jessica never planned to leave, even after Tokyo Dome. She renewed her contract for more 3 years just like the others, which means she should have stayed until 2017 and she launched Blanc Eclare in August, so she could focus more on it because SNSD was having no comeback at that time. The thing about her leaving after Tokyo Dome were lies from "insiders" who don't even have evidences.
Yes, glad to see that I'm not alone here. I believe that their bond would loose just like that. No one knows what is happening behind the cameras right? No one knows about their real status, fake news is all over the corner. But still, I believe that they're still connected. Hoping and praying for the best 💖
@@betk8811 jessica herself stated in her weibo back in the day that she had signed the contract for atleast one more year, and after that she would focus on her fashion brand and promote with snsd sometimes. That she would at one point leave snsd. But SM had a different idea unfortunately. I still feel like the girls are still in contact with her. Its all done behind closed doors because of SM unfortunately. You cant go that many years together, and let one bad incident completely ruin your beautiful years with them.

SNSD will forever be nine. They endured a lot of things together. They were loved but they were also hated. One day SNSD will have to step down the throne and pass the crown but they will always be the Queens of KPop Girl Groups. Their reign will end one day and that's okay. They have proven to many people and to the industry that girls can rule the entertainment scene amidst that time when male groups dominated it. 2007-forever, right now it's Girls' Generation!
