I work in a super bougie hotel bar in Soho and I serve a LOT of celebrities and honestly, Anne Coulter was one of the more pleasant and unassuming famous people I've served. And she tipped well so I can't complain. I can't say the same for quite a few well known liberal leaning celebs.

Law are laws when it comes to Trump and Trump supporters. The absolute strictest interpretation of the most obscure law is perfectly fine. But when it comes to leftists, laws are just guidelines, and if they disregard them, our so-called government shrugs and says, "They were careless" or "Can't prove intent" or "He's old and confused." I lived in Tucson, Arizona for five years, only an hour from the Mexican border, and I learned very quickly that absolutely no one hates an illegal immigrant more than a legal immigrant.

Employers are legally required to complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification from the Dept. Homeland Security for all employees hired. Failure to complete the form opens up the employer to fines and penalties by the Govt. but it seems that Cornell is exempt from that process.

I'm guessing many (most?) commenters here don't watch cop cam videos. 8 out of 10 perps say that immediately and repeatedly. Most of the perps also 'know their rights' - - that goes along with 'don't touch me' and 'you can't touch me'. I'm from the OLD days; I have drastically changed my views on 'police brutality'.

Ann Coulter was at my law school 20 years ago. Our entire faculty no showed, including the Dean. That said, our attendance at the John Edwards appearances were mandatory. Before he was disgraced for cheating on his dying wife.
I was at UM A2 as well. I recall vividly Ann sitting on the plastic sofa down in the coffee/ vending machine room down in the basement of the law school adjacent to the corridor of lockers. She would sit there speaking of political topics surrounded by captive listeners.

As many posters have pointed out - it is a very valid question to ask how Cornell has managed to employ her if she is in fact an illegal immigrant and does not have an EAD? If she has an EAD, then I would say it would be wrong of her to identify as an illegal immigrant because she would have some quasi-legal status at least, but if she does not have an EAD then we have some serious questions to ask - how has Cornell managed to employer her? What documents did she present for employment? Has she filed any income tax returns or paid anything in income tax while working? If she does not have an EAD, then under NACARA she has forfeited her possible right to adjust and become legal. Let us remember that it was Clinton who signed the last amnesty, and as part of that amnesty the law clearly stated that anyone who entered the US illegally after 12/23/2000 would not be allowed to adjust and become legal because we really, really, really meant it this time when we said do not come here illegally, however if you came before 12/23/2000 you could adjust and become legal as long as you behaved yourself. So if she entered after 12/23/2000 then what part did she not understand when a democrat president told her not to come and that she would be deported? We do not have a broken immigration system, we have a broken enforcement of our immigration system. If you came after 12/23/2000 then it is time to go home - because we meant it when we said no more

I'm a Cornell alum as well. Graduated in the early 2010s. I'm still proud to say I graduated from Cornell, not so proud that Cornell has someone like this as a professor. My professors back then were caring, educated, inspiring, and respectful and gave you all the resources you needed to succeed. Most are still there.
Back then there were diversity events on campus to introduce students to various cultures, but since then, diversity has been taken to a whole new level that is distorted. Cornell and all these universities need to stop trying to fill a quota and actually hire people based on credentials.
I refuse to believe this "professor" is actually illegal. She's been in the US on student/work visas if she earned her PhD at UC Santa Barbara. She even got her BA from a US university. Pretty sure you need credentials to enroll. Cornell's probably sponsoring her VISA.
Her research is on undocumented immigrants, so she's probably mad at someone who's speaking in a way that threatens her ability to do her research. If there are no undocumented immigrants, she's either out of a job, or has to find a whole new topic to do her research. Feel like it would be kind of hard to do her type of research in Ithaca. This isn't an excuse for her behavior. And, this is one person and not a reflection of the entire Cornell faculty. There are still many things we can be proud of.

A friend of mine has a CV that is jaw dropping, ivy league schools, published, women’s studies, all areas of history, black history specialties etc….and was repeatedly denied tenure positions. To see undocumented people like this get on the tenure track within 2 years of obtaining a doctorate blows my mind. The fact that most of them seem to hate our country as well just makes it harder to understand. Why don’t they live and teach somewhere they want to be?

Ya this is seriously way past getting out of control and ridiculous. I am running into this all over the place even in the small town I live in. Weakness, fragility, ignorance, laziness, entitlement are the pinnacle of virtues now this class of people are internalizing. The second a question, demand, word, or idea they cannot handle confronts them the entire world comes to a halt and they need to be rushed to a safe space. The worst part about it is for some reason our leadership, institutions, professionals, and sadly even parents are putting up with and accommodating this insanity. I honestly don't know once they reach a certain age they can even be saved. They really will have to be treated like invalids that need special care. Some that I've witnessed come across to me like avatars that are constantly changing because they have no identity at all and hope that one of them they choose will get attention to finally validate their existence and give them whatever attention they're seeking.
I watch a lot of those Cop videos and I am absolutely stunned as to how many women say “don’t touch me! Don’t touch me!” When cops are arresting them. Like what do they honestly think is going to happen? The cops are gonna say “oh you don’t want us to touch you? Okay well I guess we can’t put these cuffs on. Oh well. You’re free to go”? I mean c’mon seriously?
