PROPHET and FAMILY in FRANCISCANISM - GOSPEL and FRANCISCAN SOURCES - 14th Sunday (B) - Mk 6:1-6.
Skylark Sisters is a channel of spirituality and stories of St Francis and St Clare of Assisi, within the framework of an interesting and systematic comparison between Gospels and Franciscan Sources.
Stimuli for meditation are proposed, and narratives recalled in tune with the themes of the Word of the day. A sort of 'pop Gospel' [popular Gospel] related to the exquisitely biblical themes of the liturgical commentaries found on the duevie.art website.
Here emerges the sine glossa sensibility proper to the mendicant orders of the late Middle Ages, which exerted a considerable influence on common devotion (and chiseled it) throughout the Christian world, even ecumenical, up to the present day.
