    Video descriptions:
    0:00 Intro
    0:04 At least this was a quick diagnosis
    0:11 Most likely the head gasket is gone mixing coolant into the oil
    0:21 Thankfully the didn't run it dry of coolant and brought their car in quick before it overheated
    0:33 The transmission pan was so rusted the drain plug doesn't exist anymore
    0:41 I have no idea how this would happen right after they left the shop
    0:57 Customer just rolled in for oil change and new tires on 2001 Toyota Tacoma with 300,000+ miles
    1:23 Customer States "my car sat for a few days and now it sounds like this?"
    1:41 This was only a 2015 vehicle too, unfortunately no word on when they last did the oil change
    1:48 Customer States "I was just driving when my speedometer started doing this"
    2:03 Half of a mechanics job is fixing mistakes made by other people
    2:34 Anyone for a milkshake?
    2:40 Let us know below if you know what could be causing this noise
    2:52 If it's not a fuel pump issue it may be the injectors
    3:24 There was metal shavings throughout the oil which was a little low so definitely time for a new engine

      It always amazed me that some people will get the latest iPhone every year even though their phone that they have is still good for about 2 - 5 more years for use but can’t be bothered to do a $75 oil change every 2 - 6 months. Cheaper if you do it by yourself for the oil change but with that mentality I just talked about most of them don’t give a fuck or blissfully unaware how basic maintenance goes a very long way with your shit overall. Never rely on those people who neglect their own stuff.

      @@haaxxx9 Exactly!!! I do my own oil changes. I get the 5,000 mile oil filter and the high mileage oil. My 2005 Chrysler Town & Country has over 220,000 miles on it. I check my motor oil level & color, transmission oil level & color, brake fluid level, windshield washer fluid, and coolant level at least every two months if not every month. Tire pressure gets checked whenever the low tire pressure light comes on. Air filter(s) gets changed when oil gets changed if they’re dirty. My oil changes cost me about $30 because AutoZone has bundle deals on them, air and oil filters and oil (Pennzoil, Valvoline, Castrol are the usual motor oils). 🥰❤️

      I brought my car in for an oil change (wanted to see if they could also scan my real mileage - odo stops at 299999 - $100 oil change wasted lol) and they completely missed my exhaust (which broke off the car a week later) and my front brakes, which were a week or so from being metal-on-metal (I had all the parts at home, hoping it would last until spring), so yeah, even dealerships miss vital things.

      @amzarnacht6710 6 місяців тому

      @@the_kombinator I can see them missing the brakes, you've gotta get in close and check those purposefully.
      It's hard to miss the exhaust, but (depending on where you live) they probably see rusted pipes every day and get told 'I know, I'll fix it later' to the point they stop mentioning.
      But a tire bubbled up and ready to shred itself? That's an immediate, and almost impossible to miss issue that any experienced garage worker should point out and recommend immediate replacement.

    The Mazda no start issue is the Mass Airflow sensor gone bad, I had this happen to me in the middle of nowhere. I just disconnected the sensor and it ran on a default tune without the sensor, enough to get me home. A new sensor fixed it entirely, no fuel pump issues at all.

    • @jamesbasye2362
      @jamesbasye2362 6 місяців тому

      A no start condition can be caused by a dozen things including a bad fuel pump, you are right though i would try to go after the maf sensor first because its the easiest route, however some vehicles wont even run without one so removing it isnt always the best option, sometimes if its a maf sensor its a better option to inspect and clean it i found that to clear up a lot of issues
