You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. Fairly compact which is Nice ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxXh-4_3-ZT1fFWP91ZV7iVqzElr0lEb-a I did get an Incra Miter Gauge which takes some setup as well. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

This is by far the most practicalble hack. No need for nice equipments. Can be used perfectly for trimming tiles. I have used it and it works perfectly fine. No need for marble cutter (for small ones).

dude, search for accident of kickback...i know most of us try to cheap out the equipment..me myself included but when watching those accident..there something we can cheap out and some not..angle grinder as table saw sure is not suitable..the speed is just to much, should at least use controllerable angle grinder..the speed is just to much for the table saw...

Thanks. Just gotta be awake when using it. Sometimes, so much easier than lugging out the big saw. The angle grinder is powerful. I'll probably use the electric drill as my all-around versatile tool to convert to simple saw, router, etc. Thanks again for sharing.

this is a good idea. however, i think the hole around the blade should have a small additional allowance maybe a few millimeters. cover for dust and for safety should be also added. just my few cents.

Blade is on the wrong way round. That is why there is burn out on the wood which you can easily see at 3 min. He is cutting on the back of the teeth of the blade instead of on the front of the teeth. Still a functional design if grinder is connected to a variable speed controller to lower RPM.
Can you please tell me why table saw should be on less speed compared to angle grinder ?
Angle grinder for metal and masonry, therefore high RPM. Table saw for wood therefore lower RPM. If using a wood cutting blade on angle grinder without variable speed controller, be very very careful. If the blade binds into wood, kickback will occur often resulting in serious injury. @@johnme60

Beware of rpm difference between angle grinder and normal circular saw. They also have saw blades for angle grinders, but they only have 3 teeth on the entire wheel.

1. Circular saw machine to make the "holder" of the angle grinder and to make the hoie for the circular blade.
2. Jigsaw machine to cut the wood for tightening the angle grinder from left and right.
3. Drilling machine to screw the wood.

Consejo: No pongan nunca un disco para cortar madera en una amoladora, por las RPM. (peligro). Vale la advertencia que la amoladora no es la máquina ideal para cortar maderas, ya que no fue diseñada para ello, sino que correspondería utilizar una sierra circular.

your blade measures 125mm? And be careful friend; you're going to cut your fingers! There is no video on youtube to transplant again the fingers which are cut;)
The only way people cut their fingers is by having a fear of cutting their fingers and those who suppress their feelings, which is why any "accident" happens, because when you close off your own soul by the act of suppressing/avoiding feelings, you loose focus and break one of God's laws, which is "do no harm" which includes yourself, which you are doing if you're closing down your own soul

11.000 RPM??? Very dangerus!!!
Oh Yeah. Usually those 4 1/2 blades for cutting wood are limited to 8,000 RPM max. Spinning them faster is a risk by itself, aside of the risk of making cuts with them. A variable speed angle grinder should be a better option, despite there's a bit of torque loss when lowering the speed. I've seen 4'' blades designed for +11,000 rpm but man, they're expensive.

cutting depth would max out quickly... anything more than an inch and a half would need double passes. not worth the dangers of that 11k rpm. a simple voltage controller is a must have safety...

Power switch is not very accessible and highly dangerous being on the underside of the 'table saw' and right next the unguarded blade.
