- "Giải phóng miền Nam", là một bài hát cộng sản Việt Nam (Bắc Việt) liên quan đến giải phóng miền Nam Việt Nam khỏi sự chiếm đóng của phương Tây. Vào ngày 30 tháng 4 năm 1975, lực lượng Bắc Việt và Việt Cộng đã chiếm được thành công thủ đô của miền Nam Sài Gòn, sau này được đặt tên thành "Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh" để tôn vinh nhà lãnh đạo đổ dồn. Chiến thắng triumphant này về chủ nghĩa đế quốc phương Tây, phù hợp cho việc thống nhất đất nước Việt Nam dưới ngọn cờ của chủ nghĩa cộng sản.
"Liberate the South", is a Vietnamese (North/Vietcong) communist song concerning the liberation of South Vietnam (Republic of Vietnam) from western occupation. On the 30th April 1975, North Vietnamese and Vietcong forces successfully captured the Southern capital of Saigon, which would later be named to "Ho Chi Minh City" in honour of the fallen leader. This triumphant victory over Western Imperialism, accommodated for the reunification of the Vietnamese people under the banner of communism.

Despite being American i will say that the Viet Cong and the NVA were formidable and skilled foes and that Vo Nguyen Giap was a brilliant strategist. I personally hold no grudge towards our old foes from the war. They fought hard and fought with great skill and at the end of the day, their strategy won out. They managed to humiliate a giant. Vietnam has my respect. I also respect Ho Chi Minh for saying "once this war is over, we shall invite the Americans for tea". That was very honorable of him. May the dead on both sides rest easy and may America and Vietnam never go to war with each other again

Meanwhile the communist song got patriotic lyrics about freedom, independence and reunited the whole country, it provided powerful for the soldier to fight for a good ideal.

There is no evidence to say that the VC committed crimes, the Vietnamese people are living in Peace and Happiness, everyone has food to eat and clothes to wear, they do not have to live in fear of terrorism.
