How is this possible with a product as cheap as rice? This is sad and pathetic.
Please let me know how much is ten big bags of rice in Nigeria, and how I can get in contact with you
You can reach me via email nkwafilms@gmail.com.
Thank you

🎉
Thanks!
This is for the Desert women. They need a little break :)
❤❤❤
I am not Nigerian but thank you for bringing us this video and trying to do something for those people. The government have to do better for Nigerians in general. Nigeria is a rich country but sadly the wealth is not distributed well.
Very true DJB. Thank you
As in America😢
Coruption
Correct!
There is nothing like government when it comes to the zoo.
This by-product can be used in many ways to generate some income for the ladies. Here are a few ideas. The women can ferment it and use it as a bokashi inoculant to sell to farmers for pest control in their farms. can be used to grow mushrooms which can bring in a nice income, it can be used as a fertilizer and a soil cover for the garden, feed for chickens, and some other animals. Can be sifted and turned into wheat bran, and can be used as a building material for their houses to strengthen the walls. Someone just has to go there and show them how to create these simple businesses.
I love that you actually have some positive ideas. Nice one
Wow, lots of knowledge. Wish people would go and teach them about your ideas.
This is true, I was thinking the same thing
I wish you can go and teach them. I am sure the nigerian from diaspora would be involved.
They can also mix it with caw dang, dry it and use for fire.
Rice husk can be pressed into oil, stuffed into pillows, composted into fertile soil, used in fermentation to make alchohol, made into charcoal, mixed into mud bricks, even fed to animals to extend food and provide fiber. So dont just leave the waste there use the waste as well. If they can create things using the wasye, they can make a profit.
Elderly women in Nigeria suffer alot in Nigeria I watched my grandmother cook fresh peppers under the hot sun for somebody I wonder how she felt in the evening the pain was never worth the money but it kept food on our table I am tired of being poor or experiencing lack .
Their lungs must be finished! No mask, no protective gear. Not even water close by to drink!! God have MERCY 🙏🏼
This is what people go through in a land so blessed with abundant natural resources like Nigeria???😢
Take the rice husk which is the best fertilizer and plant a garden see if you won't get more food than trying to get a little rice.
Their grandchildren will die waiting for Nigerian government to help them. We us, Nigerians should help Nigerians
This is a BBC worth docu you have here Oga David. So touching. More grease.
Thank you.
The rice husk is fertilizer gold!
Mothers, sisters, grandmothers, and daughters hustling to put food on the table for themselves and their families....God bless them ❤😢
wHERE ARE THE MALES ?!?!?!?!
Thanks for visiting this people.
That mountain of husk is money wasting. 💰
We can make mushrooms from it.
Pig feeds and others.
There are dozens of millions of people living below the poverty line in Nigeria. It is heartbreaking.
True
There is no point in waiting for a corrupt and uncaring government to do something. Private individuals would need to organise themselves to help these communities.
What are you doing to change it instead of playing blame games and pointing fingers
@@Terry884 Do you have any sense at all? Is there something wrong with your comprehension?
@@frankchika4459 you still didn’t answer my question. What are you doing to change Nigeria for the good?
JAH blessings breada,,I an I give blessings to you,, please keep up de work of GOD,, blessings from Jamaican Rastaman,,,,🇸🇳🇯🇲🇬🇭
David Nkwa, you know those rice chaffs or HUSKS as it is called has several uses. It is used in building reinforcing and fertiliser. It can also be used as fuel.
True
Meaning wealth creation for those communities
Thank you David, It means so much to us, when you allow us to journey into Nigeria and encounter the reality of our People in Nigeria.
I have resided in Naija and traveled to parts of Nigeria; yes, it breaks my heart, that any One person would have to suffer for a meal, let alone the Elderly.
I love the fact you encourage education throughout your travels to our People. Yes, education will give our People the knowledge of how to deal with the injustices of the greedy and those in power who do not share knowledge, nor teach our People how to excel from poverty.
President Paul Kagame of Rwanda, holds the key to developing our People and their perspective African countries, through education, hygiene and pride. More African Leaders should take notice, for the sake of our People and development of Africa.
David, you are on the right path; keep up your good work.
Thank you @Village Story Teller
For your well thought-out comment.
How they was able to find rich in that sand dust. Was it the rice field? are the truck dump the end products there.
Thanks David for your good work to Nigerian people 💕 it's very sad to said that most villages in African countries are facing terrible poverty, there's a huge difference between the rich and the poor in Africa. God bless you, watching from 🇿🇦🙏
Thanks for watching Weza, appreciate it
It's really sad I'm crying because I complained how we are suffering but then seeing this people makes me grateful' may god bless you abundantly my brother you're spending out of your pocket may you succeed in life thank you
Those women deserver more actually. unfornately they have to go through a tough life like that
Everyday you learn something new. Still wondering how they can find rice in that sand.
Nigeria 🇳🇬 CANNOT boast of having factories producing for outside companies where they can employ women like these on a 9 to 5 with a salary!!! Nah shame ooooh!!!!😢😢😢
Wow !!! That’s blowing my mind 🤯🤯🤯
One man's trash is another man's treasure. As the man said fish feed, pig feed and plates can be made out of the rice husks.
Hmmmmmm thanks Sir for this video it is an eye opener to all saying that the country is ok
The women are amazing and have a bond among each other not seen here in the western world. Thank you and God bless these beautiful ladies.
AMEN 🙏🔥🙌
I never knew this level of poverty is in Igboland. We have to stamp it out. This is the problem Umahi is supposed to be tackling, instead of building an international airport. Ebonyi indigenes need a social welfare program.
The suffering is real my brother
Exactly brother, larger parts of Ebonyians are really poor. I schooled in Alex Ekwueme Federal University located in Ikwo a place in Ebonyi, there are some areas you’ll enter and u might actually tear up 😭. The governor needs to do better, people are just hungry, no be airport dem go chop 😩
So true.
Igboland is relatively small, so there's no need for many international airports.
These people need support and training to improve their lives. This is real "development", not the cosmetic facade of the state capital where the elite live.
Charles, I have been saying the thing about Jamaica. We need proper welfare system in our countries to help the less fortunate.
Oh my God.. i hope God give her bless every day.. don't give up mom's... You are strong women
This resilience shown by these people, our people should be seen as positive, because it shows to the great lenght our people can go to do, remain honest and work hard instead of sucumbing to some ethnic group that will resort to begging, stealing, kidnapping and terrorism to make ends meet.
True
People in the rural areas needs supports and trainings to transform their lives.
Great video and thanks for the support you rendered 👍
Thank you Udeozor
To help these people, you need to know what kind of soil they have. What kind of food can grow in that area? Then introduced some form of agriculture, so that community can become sustainable. The most important things that people need are water, food, shelter and clothes. What are the natural resources the community have that can be used to benefit the people and generate an income? These some of the things the local government should look at...
True alternative farming and crops. The husks can be used for mulching or compost once it breaks down.
It’s heartbreaking that people must live like this today.
GOD Bless them and us all.
Hi, thanks for going to the soil, believe me sincerely, people have been left on their own,all impoverished 😢😢
No sign any thing is going to change as no government have people at heart
I see Nigeria is a rich country, people help each other please we move together forward. They are so many rich people in Nigeria help.
This is extreme, I can't hold my tears back
Thank you for the great documentaries. Aside from the govt. People from that community who have the means should give back to the community. 1
You brought a little bit of smile to their faces. That means a lot. God bless you.
Thank you
Life is not easy for ordinary Nigerians.
Na so oh
Looking at your documentaries, one can conclude that Nigeria is an underdeveloped nation. So many of the sectors are largely underdeveloped. There is much work to be done. There is a need for community education on the roles & responsibilities of the state govt, local govt etc.
Very brave and strong women
Never would think I would see something like this thanks 🙏 for all your videos
Wow. How sad. The good thing is that in spite of their poverty everyone seems to be in good spirits. I like the part when you told them that you would give something to everyone. Great work.😊
Yea. And I did at the end of the video.
Thank you for watching as always 🙂
@@DavidNkwa Yeah I saw it until the end! I liked it when the 2 guys came running over; I think they were saying they wanted some money too. It was funny because they were talking at the same time like twins🤣🤣 . Maybe they were brothers.🤣🤗
🤣🤣🤣🤣 very true
This broke my heart. I’m just speechless…
True
The suffering is real.
So sad. I lived with a Nigerian guy in the 80s and visited Nigeria. Was intending to live there, but it didn’t happen. I understand that Nigeria used to be self-sufficient in produce before the oil was found and corruption became rife. Produce like yams, garrri, okra chicken and goat meat …and so on are delicious and sustaining, but became ‘poor man’s food’.. I loved Nigeria and feel so badly for these women. This is not a simple life..
I recently stumbled into your work of video exposition of PLACES AND PEOPLE. So much to learn and understand about our people. You can see that there is so much to do in our land to reduce suffering and porverty. Thank you David Nkwa. We value this special work you do.
Thank you for your kind words 🙏
It breaks my heart 😢
I am coming to Africa soon to help my people
My God this really broke my heart, I just couldn’t stop crying watching this, please if you can set a gofund to help the women please post so I can donate the little I can.
People at the top need to see more of these,Foreign countries they need to know they aren't supposed to treat our leaders with respect, no Jobs ,underemployment . Please go to the south west ,north ,south south do more of these
Well stated Olayinka Mobolaji, Well Stated!
God bless you bro
This is what we are saying about our politicians David Umahi is building biggest mall and airport while his people are languishing in abject poverty. And some people are shouting Umahi is the best governor
Great job David. May your kindness be repaid to you in many folds.
Amen
It's emotional 😭 watching this video, I can't even watch it to the end.
@DavidNkwa you are doing an amazing job
Thank you
😭😭😭This is pathetic,
I never knew this level of poverty is in this land
What a great job you are doing my brother
Thank you for bringing this to our notice
You can actually create a link, WhatsApp groups as a point where those interested in supporting this women can donate a token, no amount is too small for them to eat.
Good suggestions thank you
Do you think go fund me would work too?
It could.
But I think Go fund is not available for Nigeria residents
I could send a little
May God remember this ppl this is hard
You are so kind David. May God replenish you
This is so sad 🥺people are really suffering it breaks my heart
Very true, the suffering is real. Thanks for stopping by.
Wow!!.. this brings to memory Bible book of Leviticus 19: v 9&10, Leviticus 23; v 22.
Amen
Airport, flyovers etc are secondary problems for this state, the government needs to focus on what’s important “the people”. Ebonyi is the only state you’ll see women mixing bags of cement for construction works. Their government is busy building flyovers in lonely roads 😩… don’t get me wrong, those projects are needed but not now, there are more important things now.
This is so touching thanks for sharing
Your welcome. Thank you for watching
Wow I just discovered your channels am awwed man to know we things like this in Nigeria
Welcome!
My heart is bleeding, the suffering of our people is too . One Nigeria is a scam. And Nigeria can never be good again. Thanks for sharing.
Why curse Nigeria because it heart is heavy?
Death and life lies in the power of the tongue!
I'm sure this rice husk can also be utilized more efficiently to provide proper jobs for those women, God help us
My thoughts too like making charcoal or something they just need a helping hand from 🇰🇪

You are doing a great job
Thank you Sarah. hope you are following our Northern Nigeria Doc Series
Anywhere you have rice mill, you will always find women and children doing this. I see them in my home state in Cross River State doing this
Thanks for this documentary, Bro. Eye-opening!!!
May God please give us Biafra
Kai my God! 😢 I'm just speechless.
This is my area
And I can relate
This is how it has been for long
It's well
@@DavidNkwa I pray and hope it gets better
Bro, if you are around that place, can one get Rice Bran?
Am out.
If you need their contact send an email to nkwafilms@gmail.com
So touching
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Great guy . God bless you and my people too . 🙏🏻 great guy .
THANK YOU SIR!! GOD BLESS YOU 💙
Very interesting aspect in this village.🎉🎉🎉 They should release an army of chickens to roam over this yellow mount. Never mind the droppings, coz after drying, people can collect them as precious fertilizers😂😂😂😂.
If the agriculture department won't do it, someone should teach them to use these husk into planting yams, sweet potato and potato.
Spread them in rows in their backyards, mingle with cow or chicken droppings, and kitchen scraps. And then plant seeds.
Each row 2 feet high and 2 feet wide.
Also it can be used as feed for pigs mixed with edible leaves, and wonderful for fish ponds.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
If there is fruit juice factory nearby, find a way to dump the processed pulp to dump in a selected dry area. After a year that area can be turned into great fertile soil.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
“If you want to come out of poverty, you need to go to school “
Thanks for this statement David
This was how i and my mum survived, this is exactly how we where feeding, to wasn't easy, I thank for God's mercy
Well done bro for the your good gesture towards those hard working mothers...God Almighty will surely Blesss and Protect you..Amen🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much
God am worried about their health because of the sands they swallow everyday.
This great potential, all they need is government to urgently build rice mile since they already have the experience
Salute Fam, I enjoy your content and share it with others. GOD bless you all
Thank you Michael
David, I like what you're doing: Helping out the people. Continue to share love👍
Thank you
I am glad they are doing honest job but private citizens or government can support them with mechanized tools to make the job easier and faster.
You are a real gem bro thanks for educating me about these people plight.
Your welcome
This is heartbreaking. The sad thing is, I am sure members of the government are living large, with wealth and substance. 😡
Please indicate the Local Government Area and State in Nigeria. Would you believe that the Governor of this State receives Budget allocations every year?Nigerian politicians all claim to be developing their rural communities.
Good resource
But I'm so happy and thankful that you blessed us with the knowledge that is going on in this world cuz now I could pray for them and get them out of the this situation😮
Nigerians abroad should help this women with seeds to grow food for themselves. The government is never solution.
Thank you for this video. This bring us to the facts that the government is so corrupt
Watching this video reminds me the blessings we have in the US, we have problems but swifting for a small amount of rice to eat is another level.
Good. This is giving people perspective. People in the West must learn to be grateful for their many privileges
Wow 😮
This is heartbroken
true!

That's why during voting 🗳 they will give salt 🧂 to buy their vote 🗳 and they will be very happy to sell their vote for salt. 🧂 you can't blame them because of their means of living it quite sad.
Nice video here
Omo bro the way you spoke to Mishai made me subscribe. Keep it up bro
Thank you. Let keep supporting everyone
Nice.
We need to unify alaigbo and have a common developmental vision for the region so as to eradicate this level of poverty to the barest minimum
Very true. But it won't happened because the political leaders are selfish. Except new breeds of visionary leaders gets into politics and power
Exactly...
How come d rice comes up in dat desert
Never See this before, hard work those old women doing, you See poverty written on their face,God.Govt stealing Money burial some in grave, house etc.
Oh Allah the most gracious and most merciful
Grant me enough wealth so I may help these women in your grace. Amin and protect me from the evil an trails that comes with wealth amin
That job can be made easier t
Those meant should build a table it can be made from wood place a mesh wire on top of the table
Pour the rice in large quantities then place container under the table dive the rice from there
