This is the most hilarious reaction to this song that I have seen up to this point. You guys are so cute and careful...how you dance around the interpretation of this song. I respect that tact. Of course, Led Zeppelin had very limited tact in how they expressed what is inevitably a very universal human experience. I think most know what I"m talking about.
can you believe this song is from 1969, the singer was twenty the guitarist produced the sound on all of there music its timeless and there's a whole lotta more waiting for you
And you see why this group was so often emulated but never topped in their genre. The drive they put in the music made you want to move with it regardless of your nature. They were the best at what they did and no one has come close to mimicking them.
Everytime i watch a reaction vid to this song. The girls feel it right away. The guys are clueless!. Gonna give you every inch of my love. That is the crucial lyric!!
Whole Lotta love has the most primal guitar riff in all Rockdom. This is what happens when musicians from Celtic ancestry, with all its musicality, meet African American blues rhythms, lyrics and electric guitars. This confluence of musical influences happened for the first time in the 60s. No Quarter and the Battle of Evermore are more mystical. Worth a video reaction.
Loved them since i was 17. 40 years ago. And only about 10 years ago, i started realizing, that all this greatness stands and falls with BONZOS drumming.
This was a studio recording with a montage of live performance videos set to the music. Like you did with this song, I always recommend listening to the studio versions of songs first before reacting to live versions, especially when it comes to Led Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin were well known for improvisation, and would often change the songs significantly in a live show. Despite what the masses in your comments section will try to tell you, to truly gain understanding and appreciation for the magic within their songs, you should always listen to the studio recordings first. I recommend that you do a reaction to the official audio/studio recordings of two songs. The 1st song is "Stairway to Heaven" off of the album Led Zeppelin IV, and the 2nd song is "Since I've Been Loving You" off of the album Led Zeppelin III. Both songs are among some of the greatest achievements in audio recording history and both of these studio recordings will open your eyes to the magic and greatness that was (and is) Led Zeppelin. Peace
Hey guys, just so you know, the video is actually an edited/shortened version of the studio version of that song. They wanted to shorten it, for some reason. Check out their song called "Heart Breaker/Livin' Lovin Maid" from the 2nd album. Excellent!
The great sister band Heart did the stairway to Heaven cover to honor Led Zeppelin at the Kennedy center honors. The band was honored minus the drummer John Bohnham. His son Jason plays with Heart. The band was moved to tears. The president and rich and famous were there rockin.
Because you listen to the music through headphones , you heard the music the way we heard it & the way the sound engineers intended it to be heard back in the 70s . I doubt they even manufacture stereos capable of reproducing the division of sound of that period . Sound engineers like Allen Parsons who worked at Abbey Road studios for the Beatles & on Dark Side of the Moon for Pink Floyd , were capable of producing albums of their own like the Allen Parsons Project
Thank you for doing my pick, not sure if that’s why you did it, but thanks!!!… You’ve now heard their hard rock side and you’ve heard their eastern influence with Kashmir. Next you really must do their biggest song of all time and the one that has consistently for decades been picked one of the greatest, if not THE greatest song of all time. Stairway to Heaven. Many suggest the 1973 live version which is great, but I’ve always felt the studio version must be heard first. It mixes Celtic folk and acoustic with electric rock and is perfection… Rock on!!!
Since I’ve been loving you off of Led Zeppelin 3 album. Or live at Madison square garden 1973.Check to see which one has the most views. The guitar work is amazing
Not to many remember this, but back in the 70's we had what was called quadrophonic sound. Which is surround sound now. If you play Led Zeppelin songs in this style you will enter into a whole new world of music magic!!!!!!! 4 speakers one hard bass and one subwoofer!!!!! Check it out Zeppelin was way ahead of it's time!!!!! They were not from this world!!!!!
The Rover.. (Houses of the Holy) Rock and Roll for sure. I've been to London, seen seven wonders I know to trip is just to fall I used to rock it, sometimes I'd roll it...
This is the song that made them mega famous in 1969 , it is bombastic wild boisterous psychedelic and many of their songs are not like that ,they can be totally opposite from this and it made them the greatest band because they were so versatile and good at every thing they did .. Check out - Good Times Bad Times - Babe Im Gonna Leave You - Dazed and Confused - Your Time Is Gonna COME--- ,all from their very first album ...
You need to take a look at their "Celebration " concert at the 02 arena Kashmir (done again live) would be a good first choice to their concert as older musicians.
Yes ma’am. He is sensually acting out the love part😉 As an American of Arab ancestry, I love watching my young cousins from the Levant experience some of the greatest rock in history from a very, very liberal time.
Despite the appearance given by the video, this was the studio version. Regardless, I agree with you, the studio versions are best 99.9% of the time in order to appreciate the nuances of a song.
everyone reviews the lightweight songs that arent that unusual like rain song etc. Listen to 4 sticks-on Zepplin 4 if you want to see the insane talent of Led Zepplin. Bonham had to play it with 4 drumsticks to make it work.
This is the song that every rock band wishes they could create. Few can even come close. Also a reminder that 90% of rock music is about attracting the opposite sex, and the other 10% is breakup songs!
While Led Zeppelin doesn't get enough credit for their 'progressive rock' bona fides, this song is also definitely 'blues rock' (with LZ's special 'progressive' flavoring on top) . . . .
Great reaction!!! If it were my channel :-), the next thing I'd listen to would be "The Rain Song" -- it's a whole different side of Led Zeppelin and it is just fantastic . . . Or, do the smart thing :-), and react to their whole catalog of studio/album cuts starting with their first album's first song "Good Times, Bad Times"
The bridge in the middle with the weird music was supposed to be a musical interpretation of an orgasm. A thereamin was one of the instruments they used. The double-neck guitar was built for Page to play Stairway to Heaven live. The song changes from a 12-string to a 6-string and this way he could do that without swapping guitars.
I heard this when I was 19....and I'm 73 now.....they were different times
😮
This is the most hilarious reaction to this song that I have seen up to this point. You guys are so cute and careful...how you dance around the interpretation of this song. I respect that tact. Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven. Live version from Madison Square Garden in New York City in 1973.
Led Zeppelin SUX Live!!!!!!
Everytime i watch a reaction vid to this song. The girls feel it right away. The guys are clueless!. Gonna give you every inch of my love. That is the crucial lyric!!

“What is happening?” 😂😂 Loved your reaction
I always get a laugh when people ask that!
Love the reaction and everything about the song. The way the bass comes in after the opening is the highlight for me.
Hey, it was late 60’s rock!
Great music.
Stands up today and forever tomorrows.
MSG 1973 Song Remains The Same/ Rain Song. Rain Song is an absolutely stunning live performance
One of the best British bands ever 🇬🇧 ❤
Loved them since i was 17. 40 years ago. And only about 10 years ago, i started realizing, that all this greatness stands and falls with BONZOS drumming.
Right, but they all complimented each other into achieving their greatness

Classic song! Let me give you every inch of my love! 🤟😍🇺🇸
I grew to maturity with all this great music all around me. I have been privileged.
I am 61 now and i know of them for sure. I was 10 when i first became a big fan.👍🏻✌️
Robert Plant's extended wail at 4:10 is the greatest vocal sound in the history of rock music.
One if the best songs ever. Glad you got to enjoy it too. Thx ✌🏻
Hey guys, just so you know, the video is actually an edited/shortened version of the studio version of that song. They wanted to shorten it, for some reason. Check out their song called "Heart Breaker/Livin' Lovin Maid" from the 2nd album. Excellent!
For 45's record sales is why they shorten the song
I don't think the princess could take it...
Please do a reaction to Led Zeppelin Dazed and Confused
Live 1973 Madison Square garden New York it's 28 minutes long

I was 15/16 (1968/69) when this appeared. There was a lot of very new and different styles happening from the mid-1960s.
You gotta do Still loving you live at Madison Square Garden. Amazing performance!

Great reaction. They are truly legends. Here's two more Zep songs for you: Since I've Been Loving You and The Immigrant Song
Check out ( " Heartbreaker/ Living Loving Maid " , together) and "You Shook Me ".
Double-neck guitar. Usually, one will be a 12 string and the other a 6 string.
Love for you 2 from Texas
It is the perfect song to dedicate to this lady

Rock music has been at the forefront of challenging social boundaries. In the 70s, this was quite a debut.
Actually it was the late '60's
She is Tripping!
Hello there you two. May I just say that I LOVE THAT WALL in the background!!!
Nice One !!!!!!ALWAYS DO STUDIO VERSION BEFORE LIVE,,,,,MUCH BETTER SOUND
Despite the appearance given by the video, this was the studio version.
Regardless, I agree with you, the studio versions are best 99.9% of the time in order to appreciate the nuances of a song.

In quadraphonic sound it completes a circle of sound.
everyone reviews the lightweight songs that arent that unusual like rain song etc. Listen to 4 sticks-on Zepplin 4 if you want to see the insane talent of Led Zepplin. Bonham had to play it with 4 drumsticks to make it work.

request play this one Led Zeppelin - What Is and What Should Never Be (Live at The Royal Albert Hall 1970)
Led Zeppelin stands alone at the top of the mountain..timeless ageless peerless
This is progressive rock - there are many changes throughout the song
While Led Zeppelin doesn't get enough credit for their 'progressive rock' bona fides, this song is also definitely 'blues rock' (with LZ's special 'progressive' flavoring on top) . . . .
I recall when that song was new and I was a teen... it was a bit of a shocker!
Great reaction!!! If it were my channel :-), the next thing I'd listen to would be "The Rain Song" -- it's a whole different side of Led Zeppelin and it is just fantastic . . .
