But now they are willing to stay more with daddy or other people. My son has been so much more attached to me versus when he was younger. Even if I go to the bathroom, he's like "where's mommy".

Trust me she missed you the most but at this age she may not know how to show it as much. I used yo worry my son never missed me at her age. Then one day when he was 2...he hadn’t seen me all day and when I came back, he just sat on my lap for a long time and my heart melted. My son was very very active so for him to do that, confirmed how much he missed me. Anyways, life is so so quick.....enjoy every stage with your precious child 🥲🥲🥲

Alaina being more independant is better for you in the long run but it's definitely sad when that phase of your relationship is over, but there is so much more to come. My son also just needed to be weaned for him to sleep through the night, he literally woke up to breastfeed for comfort and it was difficult to wean him because he was boob crazy lol we had to go cold turkey he had just turned 2 years old! also you have really nice skin under your makeup.
