Great run thru mate, love the feedback and tips. It’s nice to come across videos that aren’t all about the top end canopies that are just well outside the average campers budget.
Really good clip guys....... like the "what would I do differently?" and the mistakes were an honest statement. I am of the opinion that a set up will never be completely 100% as our direction and requirements change and new tech always being developed. Would def watch more of your clips! I have also been caught out with remembering what prices I told my misso things cost!!!!
You can refill with a hose pipe connected to your gravity feed tap. Open you current refill tube to release the air pressure. Works well on my camper van that I built
Just as an idea for you, if you don't end up putting a pump on your water tank, use your outlet at the back for an inlet and the inlet you have used just as a vent 🤙🏼
Hey mate love the vid, currently doing something very similar. how did you secure the unistrut to the canopy? More pop rivets or something a bit more heavy duty?
Dont use foil board it dosnt work there no air barrier and just holds heat i got sucked into that one first round , best option is extra heavy duty silver air cell insulation 32mm diameter bubbles 12mm thick is what i use amazing the diffrence it made
Nice job mate, hope you enjoy the NT. Can I ask what size wire you used to run to the inverter, just bought a Renogy inverter (2000W) and I reckon the wire they supplied is a fire waiting to happen.
Awesome clip guys and amazing fit out. I was looking at grabbing one of these MW canopies was wondering what your overall opinion on them were. How is it holding up and how is the dust ingress? Hope you’re enjoying the NT!!!
Thanks for watching! We’ve just come back from a 600km dirty, dusty, 4WD trip and yes, we had dirt and dust ingress. It’s not a huge amount but it’s still enough to annoy me. I’ve only just adjusted the latches after the trip so hopefully that will help get a better seal for next time. 👍🏼 I do also get a bit of water ingress in the underbody tool boxes when there is heavy rain. apart from that, canopy is not too bad.
Great build thanks for the tips. I’m about to start my own build and measure twice cut once can save a lot of time down the track. Just a thought , would it be easier to move the fuse box on the other side with rest of them for easier access. Enjoy your time in the NT, most of us dream of doing something like that especially if your a fisho and hunter.
Good luck with your build! Let us know how you go. Nick has left it there so he can add additional batteries down the track i think. Thanks for watching.

I love your honesty! That is so much value hearing the things to do differently from someone who’s done it. Thankyou.
No probs. Anytime! Thanks so much for watching!

Can you still see out of your side mirrors now that the canopy is on?
That’s a great set up well done, I am looking forward to seeing you both on your travels 🇦🇺🍷🍷🍹🍹🍻🍻
Thanks Paul! We'll see you on the road!
Great video mate !! Helped heaps. I have the exact same draws and dual Battery set up. Looking to upgrade to a tray and box now.
Thanks so much for watching! Glad it helps. The drawers are really good! Good luck with your upgrade.

What is there thinking behind not fitting a filler or tap . Very strange
Welcome to NT 👍👍
Thanks Jay!
Bottom fill mate. Open that top pipe, connect the garden hose to the outlet and bottom fill the tanks instead
Great video guys. Enjoy the NT.
Thanks lee!

what's your hats shape i'm getting an akubra don't know what shape to get
In hindsight do you think the 65 litre is a little small?
I've got 2 kids thinking ill need at least an 80
It might be slightly too small but it works for the two of us. Thanks for watching!
how was the paint jo on your canopy? is that a matt black? nice rig mate...
Thanks! It’s powered coated Toyota graphite. To be honest it scratches super easy, it’s not the best quality powered coating job. Thanks for watching.
Hi good video , just a thought on keeping canopy cool i use foilboard insulation glued to the canopy roof and walls, seems to work well
Thank you! Might have to give it a go.

Do you know the length of the trundle draw? Cheers
I think it’s about 800-900mm. 👍🏼

Put a sintered bronze breather on the tank, remove the filler and just back fill the tank through the tap.
Ahhh right! I’ll look that one up. Thanks for watching
