Considering the speed of growth in the AI space: Asking designers how they think AI will impact their work is not entirely wrong, but still akin to asking cavalry armor how early gattling gun support will impact their work. They're so close to the machine that they can't possibly know the upcoming iterations (which, newsflash, led to the obsolescence of cavalry). Looking at the answers obtained on site, I'm thinking I should get hired by Google, because clearly they lack imagination. More than imagination, and the context leads to it, is a lack of thought-out answers connecting processes and facts into an abstract algorithm to understand where we are heading. I won't spoil the beans on that algorithm, but... it won't be 10 years. People who work 40 hours/week on specific projects as part of Google/wtv job, and spend their off-time relaxing, are not thinking thoroughly about AI, and are therefor pretty bad sources of information.
It is interesting to see what the outcome will be in three years, and if any of these predictions will come true. This is documenting a moment in time. :)
