You know what? I'm tired of not talking about this game. Mystery Dungeon 2, specially Explorers of Sky, is just perfect. The gameplay is just amazing, with one of the most emotional stories in pokemon to this day, as is a trademark of PMD. It has one of the biggest and best side-stories I've ever seen in any game ever, but the soundtrack just beats it all. IGN, screw your ratings, PMD is the best series in the franchise and we all know it. All of its aspects are perfect, and I'm tired of people not recognizing that that's true. Don't get me wrong, every pokemon game is good, well, almost all, but this one is just the best of all, by far.
***** But, all the original content is still there! It just has new things added on the side! How can it possibly wind up being worse? None of the new content is even sort of required until the late game! I- I just don't get it.
+Zeki Xu Except it's not on top. It's off to the side, packed in a resealable container. Perfectly accessible if you want it, completely optional if you don't. Also, what about that little bit extra makes it worth comparing to feces? I liked it!
+InsanityMaster51 Agreed :) I actually just rebought a new copy of sky :D I remember when Sky came out and I traded in a bunch of games to buy the copy on the release..
I was 10 when I first played that game. I was an Eevee with a Vulpix, and Primal Dialga scared me. His attack : "Roar of Time" does 100 - 130 damage, and I only had 90hp. I was lv 33 when first battled him. I didn't beat him until me and my partner was in lv 55, and that took a week! Today, I am more prepared, 15 years old (yes, i still have the game) and i always ow beat him on the first try. Primal Dialga... you may be covered with darkness, but you ae a great challenge, and an awesome pokemon!
I'm the total opposite, I somehow beat Dialga first try when I was six (I was a Piplup with Torchic) and when I replayed it many years later it took me multiple goes (I had a different combo, though, Treecko with Piplup)
I freaking loved playing through this game because it was SO much more in depth and lengthier than the main series games. It had a dark story line, really loveable characters, and actual bad villains. This game was one of the only games I have ever played to bring me to tears. When grovyle pushed dusknoir into the portal and had to go too, when you disappeared out of time after you defeated primal dialga, the scene after the credits where you reappear really got me. But the thing that got me most? The soundtrack. The soundtrack to this game is the best out of every game I have ever played. So beautifully composed and filled with such emotion, it really made the game 50 times better. Time/Darkness/Sky will always be in my top 3 games I have ever played.
I never thought of it like that but you're right. The story alone is good but a little cliche. However accompanied with the music the game's plot can bring a tear to your eye.
How it went for me: Me: Here we go *eats cross eye seed, moves to align with Dialga, Dialga uses Roar of Time, misses both me and my partner, I use focus blast three times in a row, as well as one or two reviver seeds out of my permanently refilled stock of four, Dialga faints* Me: Thank you, come again. mahtinimi lets hope not. But considering how this took me HOURS of grinding and crippling depression just to tank a roar of time from dialga. I can agree that you can lose even while cheating.
Xynix Roar of time does a stupid amount of damage that 1-HKOs anyone under level 50 unless you're really lucky. and every other turn he could use it. as well as the fact that his HP was almost double the second strongest enemy. reaching him was a bitch for a start. then there was, as I mentioned. the roar of time
I did 3 playthroughs. The first two, I played legitimately. My strategy there was to: 1. Throw Stun Seed 2. Use Swords Dance 5 times 3. Walk up to Dialga 4. OHKO with Focus Punch The 3rd time I cheated by evolving myself and my partner and setting our levels to 100. I Focus Punch him and he dies. Oh, also, I was about level 55 on the legitimate playthroughs. I don't know why you'd be below 50.
When i faced him with riolu i was like "shit, can i survive this? Oh well, let's try" Then i threw a stun seed, ate a violent seed and then used focus punch. The result? 853 damage on Primal Dialga, one hit kill. I was like "... Did i just kill the last boss of the main storyline with one hit...?"
Primal Dialga, the main reason I even like Dialga~! I'm SO happy to see you finally make a remix of this handsome theme, Glitchy. You really did an amazing job with this one too! I have no complaints, I love the intro how it starts off slower but then builds up with those fun arpy note thingies in this song. Sorry you've been in much pain recently, but I hope that you feel better soon! Keep up the amazing work~! :3
I love pokemon and for me, Pokemon Mystery Donjon : Explorers of Drakness/Time/Sky is the BEST pokemon game. It's my opinion, and I know that people don't agree with me. But EVERYTHING in this game is just awesome ! My god, just to remember the fight against Primal Dialga and the scene after, I cry. In fact, this game is the only one which makes me cry.
Gwendal Taghe My opinion is that its a tie between black/white and x/y. to be fair ive played black, white, X, Y, Explorers of time, gates to infinity and ive started Omega Ruby(i have alpha sapphire but i havent started it yet) but i havent got very far ( i just beat the first gym leader.
0:21 damn this is so beautiful, reminds me of playing Explorers of Darkness... good times, the 4th generation of Pokemon was my first and favorite that I completed. It will always hold a special place in my heart. :')
ScoutRealmsMC I don't know why everyone says Cynthia was the hardest, I had Diamond when I was 8 and Platinum when I was 10 and I remember beating Cynthia pretty easily, I bought HeartGold when I was 13, 2 years ago and I struggled like a bitch fighting against Lance.

I remember when I completed mystery dungeon explorers of sky for the first time... The battle has been epic, and I cried so much in the ending... Even knowing I would come back, it's just too sad to not cry ;)
Indeed, it was VERY sad... No one right in the head could resist crying... It wasn't someone you knew well, IT WAS YOU D: That was hard hitting. Gates to infinity tried to get that sadness for its ending... BUT failed imo
SupremeSableye I know right? Its so sad... I didn't cry, but I couldn't sleep all night... It just kept me awake... and I dreamed that I was that skitty with my turtwig partner... I dreamed of when grovyle goes back to the future... had the music of the games playing in my head over and over... dreamed of riding lapras over the sea of time... of getting all the time gears... of battling primal dialga... of disappearing... and of dialga resurrecting me... just so sad but it was such an amazing experience to feel that all myself... I didn't cry but I just couldn't sleep that night and dreamed of mystery dungeons over and over... In the end I let go. Still, whenever I think of my explorers of time, its hard to suppress the tears... Skitty and Turtwig forever!
"The Parting May Hurt.... But The Rest! Is In YOUR'E Hands!!!" This was the most challenging game i ever played,i still havn't beat primal dialga as i just got there,it's beautifuel and amazing,if only the current ones could even make up for that bit,i loved the dungeon bit i loved the exploring bit a loved every god damn bit,it was amazing in so many ways,i am astonished by this game, and it is my favourite game to date, atleast my favourite DS game
Porygon Z: used discharge Riolu: fainted Riolu: revived Chimchar: fainted Chimchar: revived (a half a bag of Reviver seeds and Oran berries later) Dialga: used Roar Of Time Riolu: took 201 damage Riolu fainted Chimchar took 199 damage (after fighting up close he used dragon claw which raised attack) Me:SLAM Mom:Your buying your own damn Games!! older me: finally...huh Pokemon Sun and Moon hm... To be continued
+BoxofTomatoFairy I did the same at one point... restarted from having almost every legendary (missing one due to my version). Still got the same partner and main character xD
Coming back to this after all this time and I can remember just how heated and focused I was in that fight he killed my partner and I wasnt about to give up at all. I had cried so hard for him that I had to get my get back. The PMD games were always top tier
How to beat Primal Dialga Throw a stun seed, holding the enemy in place, enabling you to prepare yourself. Use a violent seed for both you and your partner, maximizing your attack capabilities. Return Dialga to a fighting state by throwing a vile seed at it, reducing its defenses. Make certain you and/or your partner have Protect, to nullify Roar of Time, and attack away. I used a Riolu and Charmander team, with Dig hitting for roughly 600 damage.
Ah Primal Dialga... I remember getting up to him and then the next time I turned my game on all my save data had been erased... I still haven't beaten that game XD
how to beat him: 1. throw sleep seed. 2. walk up to p. dialga 3. spam force palm or any other fire, earth, or fighting moves till defeated. if he wakes up throw another sleep seed
Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time...The story was phenomenal...I'm not a person to be brought to tears by really anything, but man o man this nearly did it.
William Edward Well chunsoft made it. I know I know correction nazi. I've been called that before. But still, wanna make sure the people responsible for this incredible game get the credit.
PMD is stuuupidly underrated as a VIDEO GAME in general. Let alone a Pokemon game! Heart wrenching story man. Real tears and lumps in your throat. Attachment to characters and your beloved partner especially in the newer PMDs. Im gonna go play me some mystery dungeon now :D
***** Primal Dialga only appears in the future, the present Dialga is only half corrupted. That being the reason it speaks in unintelligible sentences.
When I first heard this I just could't control my emotions, the uplifting build up and an in powering melody all linking back to my favourite boss battle in video games. This majestic theme makes me feel as if I can do anything, thanks so much Glitch your talent is incomparable. Thank you for this majestic piece of perfection! P.s it also made me really want to replay the PM games (which I have), can't wait to the new one!
wow. this is really awesome. mystery dungeon sky was my first pokemon game, and when your young and simple like that, you dont worry about base stats, battle strategies, or anything like that. you just went back in there, no matter how many times you had died, wanting to beat the crap out of dialga for all that he did to those you cared about.
You played this off so well, I think I might cry from the sheer awesomeness of this remix. This is one of my favourite soundtracks from pokemon and from one of my favourite games, and also one of the best remixes I have heard for this song. To put it in short, YOU RULE! =D
Just because Gates to Infinity is the newest one doesn't mean it sucks. Sure, they stuck you with Emolga and Dunsparce, two awful Pokémon, but they improved a lot of the previous games' flaws. And, of course, that ending was one of the few times a video game has actually made me cry.
Dreigonix They improved nothing. I went through the game, befriended a level 46 Beartic and a level 50-something Bisharp while the rest of my team was stuck at around level 20, steamrolled everything and didn't even break a sweat throughout the first 3-quarters of the game, before I stopped playing and never went back to it. In fact, I went back and did a whole playthrough of Red Rescue Team to cleanse my palate. You know your series has gone backwards when you have to cleanse your palate with a game from EARLIER IN THE SAME SERIES. Seriously, though, Gates to Infinity sucks balls. And that's without comparing it to it's (much better) predecessors.
EpicTreePunchers Well, obviously nothing compares to Red Rescue Team. But even though Gates To Infinity definitely had its flaws, its pros far outweigh the cons. For example: •Took out the freaking hunger mechanic that just got in the way and annoyed the hell out of everyone (until the endgame dungeons) •Removed the personality quiz that used to pretty much force you to reset until you got the Pokémon you wanted •Actually let you play as different Pokémon BEFORE beating the game. Plus, by making you unable to progress in the story in Companion Mode, it prevented the practice of game-breaking by setting a super-powerful Pokémon as your leader and breezing through. •Yes, it is easier, but that doesn't mean it sucks. I actually PREFER not being completely stopped by absurd bosses like Bulk-Up Groudon in Explorers of Sky, or having to grind endlessly in up to 99-floor dungeons to recruit that one Pokémon I want (only to have them die as I am trying to get out of the dungeon.) The fact that recruited Pokémon DON'T have to make it out alive for you to keep them is a real godsend. Not to mention you are no longer screwed up the arse if you die. ...Also, you didn't even see the whole game. It gets much harder. •Surprisingly good graphics considering the top-down 2D style of the series, which could've translated to 3D a lot worse •2 99-floor postgame dungeons that set you to level 5 and add hunger, not to mention the Magnagates and other assorted challenges, so great replay value •Added DLC •No less of a compelling storyline than the rest of the series The only "flaw" you mentioned was "It's easy, so it sucks." Baseless much?
This is beautiful. I really enjoy your music so much. It helps me draw a lot! I listen to your remixes from time to time while I draw, and this time listening to it is one of those times!
Let me share with you all a little story. I equate the battle with Primal Dialga to the struggle that me and one of my closest friends went through against bullying. A force that towered over us, dwharfing us. We were the underdog. Just like you and your partner from Mystery Dungeon: Explorers. Once we finally overcame said struggle, I had to leave (I moved), making my friend losing the only *true* friend she ever had. Just like how you leave your partner at the end of PMD2 (except after the credits). Several years later, we then reunited over Facebook. Thats the reason Primal Dialga will always be one of my favorite final bosses of all time. :3
I feel ya... I moved away from my best friend I knew ever since I was born and my friend I knew in kindergarden moved away when we were gonna meet up in the same school again... it hurts
Glitch, your music is magical. I had a tough time trying to beat Primal Dialga, always failing, but at least gaining experience. then I listened to this twice. first time failing again, but the second time I beat him. Also I paralyzed him with discharge, got a cringe with thunder fang, and survived a roar of time, which doesn't happen often. I had no reviver seeds and I used no items, and also I accidentally attacked normally once, luckily it didn't lead me to defeat. My team, shinx and riolu.
I love both, PMD is harder and funner in certain ways, but there is just something about the normal games that make it better for me, I still love both though
I started with Eevee, so this fight was incredibly hard for me. My partner Riolu helped a lot, but I managed to beat him on my 3rd try. probably due to the time I actually spent grinding X3 Amazing remix BTW! All PMD games were great, but T/D/S were my favorite by far, if not my favorite pokemon game of all time!
omg i've got the goosebumps of death right now!! i remember me crying over one of the mystery dungeon games when i was a child because the story was sooo good.
Primal Dialga took me about 4-5 tries using Treecko and Piplup. The real challenge was that fucking pack of luxio and luxray. I swear those stupid luxio knew to go straight for piplup first.
I destroyed primal Dialga. 1) Charge focus punch 2)Dialga steps forward, not using roar of time. 3) Hit his weak point for massive damage. 4) Partner finishes him off with flamethrower.
This is amazing Glitch, it has always been my favorite song from PMD and you just made it 1,000 times better! Adding this to my favorites right away :D
I completed PKM MD Darkness not too long ago. Wow... the end had me blubbering like a baby. Yet, I somehow cried MORE when my character returned, rather than when... well, y'know, [spoilers] happened. I'm in the middle of getting Manaphy, and literally in the middle of that Magic Sea place. Getting those Blue Gummis drove me mental.
Aha, thank you, but I've already completed the main story :3 I'm going through the post-game events, but thank you anyway!! The twist with the Frozen World and you-know-who was amazing :O ...unless there's something after the post-game that I don't know about..? What are your secrets mysterious youtube commenter >->
Funny how Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire introduced primal legendaries to the main series right before the sinnoh remakes. It's like Nintendo just predicted the future. "Okay so in mystery dungeon we will have primal dialga. Then we will introduce primal pokemon to the main games years later right before we re-release primal dialga in our sinnoh remakes!"
but there is one huge difference between the primal pokemon in the ruby and sapphire remakes and primal dialga. groudon and kyogre their's is a reversion of the body making them much more powerful where as primal dialga's is one of the mind making it completely loony
Nicholas Bautista he was turning into primal dialga because the tower was collapsing as well. you may have noticed that in the future Dialga was fully primal however when you fought him in the present hes only about half converted.
giganino10 I know you fight him berfore he's fully converted because he would be less powerful at that time, if you would've fought him in full primal it would be a very hard, nearly impossible, opponent as evidence from the game suggests
Psst. Step 1: Get Dig. Bring lots of reviver seeds. Step 2: Throw a seed at Dialga to stop him (I like stun), then a Vile seed to crash his stats, boost your own guys with Violent seeds. Step 3: DEMOLISH HIM.
Man, I love the Mystery Dungeon games. The only thing I don't like about it is that the community is waaayyy too toxic towards Gates to Infinity, which is my favorite entry in all honesty. *readies flame shield* In my opinion the character development was a lot deeper and more organic than its predecessors. It had its flaws, and I can see why people'd prefer the other two games, but sheesh, some people act like it killed their childhood.
Even after all this time, I LOVE Mystery Dungeon. I know all the other fans out there feel the same way, it's a great game that doesn't get recognized. The nostalgia is so strong for a lot of us :)
That is true, but the fact that there are two climaxes makes it also true that they are two different stories. Separate? No, but they are still two different pieces of the story. So both can be a final boss.
Glitch, this was my childhood favorite theme. You have inspired a boy, who has become a man and have brought a smile to his face. Even though PMD is melancholy, you made this theme epic. You are an amazing human being.
I think I can die now... (no I don't) ... This is one of the BEST remix I ever heard. This music is probably the best one from this franchise, with a few other. This is in the best pkmn game... Amazing. I'm all hyped here xD Thanks!
*Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* *Clicks refresh* That enough for you because I think it needs more.
HAIL BEFORE YOU'RE GOD Edit: I found one of my old comments from a year ago. And my god. This is bad lmao, so let me rephrase this... KNEEL BEFORE YOUR GOD.
In my opinion I loved Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon but it's not same as PMD: Explorers of Sky. I still have my and I don't think I would ever give it up. Explorers of Sky had such a good story and many other things that made the gameplay beautiful and this will always and forever be my favorite PMD game ever.
I’ve heard the intro to this theme so many times due to reborn. I didn’t know it slapped this hard
This theme is there for you as you breathe, heavily, after beating a difficult Reborn battle.
The Explorers Series is criminally underated.
Dam agreed.
I only played darkness/time. I haven't played anything but Blue and explorers haha! But trust me it is underrated. I should pick up the next one or just reply darkness again. Ah i loved the story for it.
***** Just a heads up, GTI (the 3ds game) is a huge step backwards.

Me: Okay I'm ready *Dialga uses Roar of Time, instantly killing my partner.* Oh, SCREW YOU!
Haha, "Zeitenlärm" is shitty :D
I spammed his ass with totter/sleep/ x-eye seeds
All I did was put him to sleep, use violent seeds, and constantly hit him with my best attacks.
So, what I do with every boss in this game.
How it went for me:
Me: Here we go
*eats cross eye seed, moves to align with Dialga, Dialga uses Roar of Time, misses both me and my partner, I use focus blast three times in a row, as well as one or two reviver seeds out of my permanently refilled stock of four, Dialga faints*
Me: Thank you, come again. Good grief that was easy...

+Darkytwoo i would use dig a lot and have my riolu partner use brick break and force palm a shitton of times xD!!! that and spamming sleep seeds
I miss Grovyle...
Luke Fletcher ... we all do...
...everbody does...
minus darkrai
+Luke Fletcher I would if I didn't stop playing this game over and over again
I will wait until I see you again....
*Check Japanese Super Mystery Dungeon there is an art with all the returning characters and the heroes of time are there! :D*
Ohai again Celebi. Never thought I'd see you here.
Every victory music on Pokémon Reborn, albeit only hearing the first 2 seconds of this music because I keep scrolling the dialogue.
That moment, when you defeat that important character...and you feel powerfull
Good memories from Pokemon Reborn.
The Primal Dialga theme is honestly one of my favorites of all time this remix does it justice

Btw Lucario is my favourite pokemon.

The only boss fight you could lose even if you cheated.
Severide E did you try
mahtinimi lets hope not. But considering how this took me HOURS of grinding and crippling depression just to tank a roar of time from dialga. I can agree that you can lose even while cheating.
Meh. I don't know about that. I cheated to be already evolved, and be lvl 100. How do you lose with that?
Xynix Roar of time does a stupid amount of damage that 1-HKOs anyone under level 50 unless you're really lucky. and every other turn he could use it. as well as the fact that his HP was almost double the second strongest enemy. reaching him was a bitch for a start. then there was, as I mentioned. the roar of time

I recall being really happy when hearing this theme while playing Reborn because that's when I FUCKING WON AGAINST THOSE ANNOYING OPPONENTS RAURGHHH
When i faced him with riolu i was like "shit, can i survive this? Oh well, let's try"
Then i threw a stun seed, ate a violent seed and then used focus punch.
The result? 853 damage on Primal Dialga, one hit kill.

PoltergeistHakusho Congrats. You were the first person to cuss in a reply to me... im a new channel...
The theme that plays after BS in reborn
Facts
My favourite videogame music! And this remix is epic!
Mystery Dungeon
My favorite one.
I remember when I completed mystery dungeon explorers of sky for the first time... The battle has been epic, and I cried so much in the ending... Even knowing I would come back, it's just too sad to not cry ;)
I cried for Masko :'(
Indeed, it was VERY sad...
Me too, it's the only game that makes me cry :'(
DarkSheila is it sad that i cant get to 100th floor to save my life
Dialga was primal before it was cool
"The Parting May Hurt....
But The Rest! Is In YOUR'E Hands!!!"
This was the most challenging game i ever played,i still havn't beat primal dialga as i just got there,it's beautifuel and amazing,if only the current ones could even make up for that bit,i loved the dungeon bit i loved the exploring bit a loved every god damn bit,it was amazing in so many ways,i am astonished by this game, and it is my favourite game to date, atleast my favourite DS game
This was gold! No! This was Platinum! NO! THIS WAS DIAMOND!!!
This was explorers of sky!
............ no... sorry, but... that just killed the vide...
+Ali BabaAhmed It's Explorers of Sky though?
Mythimna no. The game was explorers of time/darkness.
No it was all three!
This makes Pokemon one of the best games I know. Thank you for uploading this, its actually my favourite song now. Good job.
Quite possibly the best remix you've ever made!
Watch HeartBender
nah its the best material
Benjamin Mourad I think Sea of Time and Temporal Tower, while both containing elements of this remix, are better.
Nathan Hayes I remember listening to his temporal tower remix, that's amazing too!
Xohadarc Very few of her works aren't ;) My personal favorite is the drift veil remix she did over on planet poke.
Porygon Z: used discharge
Riolu: fainted Riolu: revived Chimchar: fainted Chimchar: revived
(a half a bag of Reviver seeds and Oran berries later)
Dialga: used Roar Of Time
Riolu: took 201 damage Riolu fainted Chimchar took 199 damage (after fighting up close he used dragon claw which raised attack)
Me:SLAM
Mom:Your buying your own damn Games!!
older me: finally...huh Pokemon Sun and Moon hm...
To be continued
i replayed the entire game just to listen to this theme again
BoxofTomatoFairy You know you didn't have too, right? xD
There's a jukebox!
i was 11 and dedicated
+BoxofTomatoFairy I did the same at one point... restarted from having almost every legendary (missing one due to my version). Still got the same partner and main character xD
That's a good reason man 👍
Coming back to this after all this time and I can remember just how heated and focused I was in that fight he killed my partner and I wasnt about to give up at all. I had cried so hard for him that I had to get my get back. The PMD games were always top tier
Seriously best Pokemon remix out there!
glitch dose some that are beter thogh
zach zap Spell check, please.
SnowfurOfAwesomeness Ah. A fellow Grammar Nazi.
Flow Enoleth Yay Grammar Nazis!
Wait, is that the plural of Nazi? O_o
SnowfurOfAwesomeness Spellcheck: GlitchxCity does some that are better though.
How to beat Primal Dialga
Throw a stun seed, holding the enemy in place, enabling you to prepare yourself.
THX BRO IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😁
Ah Primal Dialga...
I remember getting up to him and then the next time I turned my game on all my save data had been erased... I still haven't beaten that game XD
Spoilers
thats not even close to the end
Yeah I figured that but it felt pretty accomplishing back when I was nine XD
XD
Ah XD
Does it do 3Ds?
cool, might invest in one XD
how to beat him: 1. throw sleep seed. 2. walk up to p. dialga 3. spam force palm or any other fire, earth, or fighting moves till defeated. if he wakes up throw another sleep seed
Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time...The story was phenomenal...I'm not a person to be brought to tears by really anything, but man o man this nearly did it.
The Mystery Dungeon stories are really something to be proud of.
It did, in my case.
And its the same with the first game and every time i play the game till the final fight.
Im always sad :(
Zalkari Ament Yeah, Gamefreak did itself proud with MD.
William Edward Well chunsoft made it. I know I know correction nazi. I've been called that before. But still, wanna make sure the people responsible for this incredible game get the credit.
Helio Knight Amen. .-.
If you had one Chance, Who Would you save?
Dusknoir?
Grovyle?
Or Dialga?
+Arctic Chill Grovyle.
Em... Dialga, because he can "revive" the other two xD
Grovyle. I miss him
Dialga so we can make the other 2 alive with no regret of this choice ^^
+Arctic Chill Grovyle of course, that part in the game made me cry so hard it be even worse to never see him again.
Funnily, you don't actually fight Primal Dialga. You fight a half corrupted Dialga.
But Primal Dialga IS the corrupte- oh wait,oh yeah...i never even noticed XD
Clairis Chang I don't... what? Explain XD
***** Primal Dialga only appears in the future, the present Dialga is only half corrupted. That being the reason it speaks in unintelligible sentences.
You fight him in the fifth Special Episode, that is, if you played Explorers of Sky.
Yeah exactly :D
Brings back memories truly the best pokemon remix ever!
You played this off so well, I think I might cry from the sheer awesomeness of this remix. This is one of my favourite soundtracks from pokemon and from one of my favourite games, and also one of the best remixes I have heard for this song. To put it in short, YOU RULE! =D
I am so glad I did not miss the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon boat. The series was amazing, *looks at Gates to Infinity disapprovingly* not you.
but...but...Gates to Infinity was alright :3 I found it funny that Emolga started to develop feelings for Virizion even after he hated her xD
Yea I liked it but it was way too short.
EpicTreePunchers
Well, obviously nothing compares to Red Rescue Team. But even though Gates To Infinity definitely had its flaws, its pros far outweigh the cons. For example:
•Took out the freaking hunger mechanic that just got in the way and annoyed the hell out of everyone (until the endgame dungeons)
•Removed the personality quiz that used to pretty much force you to reset until you got the Pokémon you wanted
•Actually let you play as different Pokémon BEFORE beating the game.
•Surprisingly good graphics considering the top-down 2D style of the series, which could've translated to 3D a lot worse
•2 99-floor postgame dungeons that set you to level 5 and add hunger, not to mention the Magnagates and other assorted challenges, so great replay value
•Added DLC
•No less of a compelling storyline than the rest of the series
The only "flaw" you mentioned was "It's easy, so it sucks." Baseless much?
+Evan Czarkowski *claps*
I feel ya... I moved away from my best friend I knew ever since I was born and my friend I knew in kindergarden moved away when we were gonna meet up in the same school again... it hurts
That back story, though. I need to play Explorers of Time/Sky again, finish the Gen. 5 one, and get and play Super Mystery Dungeon.
Havent played GTI, but I have played Super.
Good, but I think Explorers is better.
cringe
Glitch, your music is magical. I had a tough time trying to beat Primal Dialga, always failing, but at least gaining experience. then I listened to this twice. first time failing again, but the second time I beat him. Also I paralyzed him with discharge, got a cringe with thunder fang, and survived a roar of time, which doesn't happen often. I had no reviver seeds and I used no items, and also I accidentally attacked normally once, luckily it didn't lead me to defeat. My team, shinx and riolu.
I couldn't beat dialga w/out action replay because roar of time did like 250 damage and killed me instantly :(
Dont cheat :/ just persevere and try your best. I guess you already have but still. i used 1 rev seed and 1 sleep and i was set.
My strategy? Stock up on reviver seeds he whole game and bring the all with you during this battle
This is THE best remix I have come across yet! Thank you Glitch!
Most satisfying defeat theme ever
OMG i just can't stop listening to this! its SO amazing
PMD > Actual series
in my opinion
+SoulSilver0w0 The main series doesnt even hold a candle to the Mystery Dungeon series.
They arent even in the same league.
+SoulSilver0w0 I can't say which is better because to me they're incomparable. but on sheer fun value alone, PMD FOR LIFE
+SoulSilver0w0 HONESTLY.
I love both, PMD is harder and funner in certain ways, but there is just something about the normal games that make it better for me, I still love both though
I love the PMD's stories, they are amazing and so interesting.
This was by far one of my favorite melodies in PMD, and you, my friend, made it so much better!
I was Piplup and my partner was Turtwig. I remember how we finally beat Primal Dialga after plenty of attempts. Then I disappeared...
you have the same team i had in darkness!
***** all i did was eat an All power-up seed or something then i put him to sleep and went POW ur dead.
Eli Vern
Violent seed + Focus punch = TKO
the power of riolu!
konkord2 ah, someone else who was a rilou, now the scary thing will be if your partner was a treeko.
Nah, I always choose either Pikachu, squirtle, or charmander.
Oh, bloody hell I forgot how much I've missed listening to your remixes, GlitchxCity.
Thanks, My Mix!
I started with Eevee, so this fight was incredibly hard for me. My partner Riolu helped a lot, but I managed to beat him on my 3rd try. probably due to the time I actually spent grinding X3
Amazing remix BTW! All PMD games were great, but T/D/S were my favorite by far, if not my favorite pokemon game of all time!
omg i've got the goosebumps of death right now!! i remember me crying over one of the mystery dungeon games when i was a child because the story was sooo good.
This is so awesome.
And beautiful. OwO
It actually brought tears to my eyes. ='D
*hugs*
***** ;w;
You ma'am have an amazing talent of making old music sound New, remixed, and well, amazing! ^^
that reborn though
The reborn creator took glitches remixes. It is credited in the file's descriptions.
Primal Dialga took me about 4-5 tries using Treecko and Piplup. The real challenge was that fucking pack of luxio and luxray. I swear those stupid luxio knew to go straight for piplup first.
la recuerdo de Pokemon Reborn
I destroyed primal Dialga.
1) Charge focus punch
2)Dialga steps forward, not using roar of time.
3) Hit his weak point for massive damage.
4) Partner finishes him off with flamethrower.
this theme makes you feel like a hero
This is amazing Glitch, it has always been my favorite song from PMD and you just made it 1,000 times better! Adding this to my favorites right away :D
I completed PKM MD Darkness not too long ago. Wow... the end had me blubbering like a baby. Yet, I somehow cried MORE when my character returned, rather than when... well, y'know, [spoilers] happened. I'm in the middle of getting Manaphy, and literally in the middle of that Magic Sea place. Getting those Blue Gummis drove me mental.
Have fun doing the last story quest. There its ALL revealed. Who interrupted your and grovyles warp who drove dialga crazy and so on. Have fun!
Aha, thank you, but I've already completed the main story :3 I'm going through the post-game events, but thank you anyway!! The twist with the Frozen World and you-know-who was amazing :O
...unless there's something after the post-game that I don't know about..? What are your secrets mysterious youtube commenter >->
Muahahahaaa!!!!
I meant the last post story quest! ;)
awwwww, now I'm curious ;-; I'm still stuck in that sea though...
All your remixes are gonna make me cry feels :'/ bittersweet man, bittersweet
IN the art looks like the seeds of time drifting off to be sown and take root for the future
thats deep
this song should be in game
I was so psyched when i found out that you did remixes for mystery dungeon i thought i was one of the only ones who actually liked the games:)
I hope you're right. I really want this. The more I think, the more I feel like it !
but there is one huge difference between the primal pokemon in the ruby and sapphire remakes and primal dialga. groudon and kyogre their's is a reversion of the body making them much more powerful where as primal dialga's is one of the mind making it completely loony
but dialga was more powerful in that form and was only turning 'loony' because the tower was collapsing
Primal Dialga and SEa of Time music want me to cry... I don't know why... *sniffff* *snifff*
Wow....
Dialga is badass in the regular anime and this....
Dialga ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!
Man, I love the Mystery Dungeon games.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the community is waaayyy too toxic towards Gates to Infinity, which is my favorite entry in all honesty.
*readies flame shield*
In my opinion the character development was a lot deeper and more organic than its predecessors. It had its flaws, and I can see why people'd prefer the other two games, but sheesh, some people act like it killed their childhood.
Patrick Star I'm glad we agree :)
+Cielo Pachirisu I agree I hate the new ones, Explorers of darkness was my first, It was so sad.
+Arctic Chill I guess you could say that it was a very... Dark experience!
Even after all this time, I LOVE Mystery Dungeon. I know all the other fans out there feel the same way, it's a great game that doesn't get recognized. The nostalgia is so strong for a lot of us :)
If I had one wish that Nintendo would give me it were a Remake of Team Sky for NX and further Consoles
It's Chunsoft, not Nintendo.
But the game was made by Chunsoft.
I know that Chunsoft made the Game but maybe they can group together and make a remake for the Nintendo Consoles
Giraffenkatze for nx lol
I'm glad this theme was so damn good.
You had to listen to it sooooo much whilst attempting over and over to beat Primal Dialga.
Best final boss battle music remix ever.
Except its not the final boss....
Oh who the eff cares.
SoaringE4GLE It is the final boss of the main story. All the bosses afterward are for the post-story.
Darkrai is the final boss and technically it is still a main storyline.
That is true, but the fact that there are two climaxes makes it also true that they are two different stories. Separate? No, but they are still two different pieces of the story. So both can be a final boss.
I didn't realize you had already remixed this.....regardless, thank you--it's awesome! ^^'
I REMEMBER THIS AWESOME FIGHT
Glitch, this was my childhood favorite theme. You have inspired a boy, who has become a man and have brought a smile to his face. Even though PMD is melancholy, you made this theme epic. You are an amazing human being.
I cried after this Battle.
I think I can die now... (no I don't)
... This is one of the BEST remix I ever heard. This music is probably the best one from this franchise, with a few other. This is in the best pkmn game... Amazing. I'm all hyped here xD Thanks!
"Whew, finally beat titiana!
There are so many great remixes of this game and this one Is one of the best ones
Primal Dialga, Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre
HA! MD did it first!
who's MD?
Kokayshi Toshiiba Mystery Dungeon.
Kokayshi Toshiiba it would also be PMD (pokemon mystery dungeon)
But I think they look back at the spinoffs too
Easily the best remix of this song I've ever heard. Awesome job!! :D
hearing this while doing homework! Keep up the good work!
Isn't this song used in Pokemon Reborn after you beat a trainer??
Probably. I was here trying to remember if I heard it on Reborn or Rejuvenation, but I think it was Reborn.
I love the great group of people here who agree the The Pmd series was incredible as well as Glitchxcity for making this incredible music
Grovyle. NEVER FORGET
Your remix and JimmuKi's are excellent in several aspects!
R.I.P Iwata :'(
hands down the best remix i ever heard and it will probably be the best remix for a very long time
BEST. REMIX. EVER! :')
Agreed! =P
HAIL BEFORE YOU'RE GOD
Edit: I found one of my old comments from a year ago.
The feels. :(
