As I’m sure we all have observed, home prices have risen significantly in the last few years. Driven by several factors but mainly it’s supply and demand! We have way more buyers wanting to buy than we have homes available for purchase so that drives up price.
Although an increase in interest rates has slowed the market, last month sales of luxury homes outpaced the market as a whole. For single-family homes priced at $1 million or more, sales increased 49.1%! Demand is high and 3.5M for a totally custom built home is not uncommon in this market. Case in point… This home has already sold!
