The usual group of north east frauds giving out ranks in the name of their made up associations that they founded themselves. It's funny how none of them have legitmate high ranks in legitimate arts under legitimate teachers with any connections to Japan or China.
How does an association give out ranks? An association isn't a martial art. But that's what all these frauds do. Make up an association and then give eachother ranks and titles like 9th and 10th degree black belts or Soke or Hanshi or Grandmaster titles. Yet there is no curriculum to go with said rank or title because they made up the BS martial arts they do. So in this case you got the New Jersey Black Belt Association which is a made up fraud group of friends giving this fraud/friend his 9th degree black belt. In what? The NJBBA isn't a martial art.
And this fraud does some made up Chinese Okinawa street karate according to his site. And he is really proud of his Samurai swords which aren't from any art he claims so I wonder where he learned how to use them. Because Chinese arts don't use them(not Japanese) and neither do Karate(except all the frauds who want to look cool waving Samurai swords around) becuase the Kingdom of Okinawa(where Karate comes from) wasn't Japanese and had no Samurai. His complete lack of knowledge of Japanese history and Karate history is obvious to any knowledgeable person.
Sad how so many students get taken advantage of by so many frauds in this country. If they just googled a little they would quickly see how fast their "art" disappears with no trace or history passed the last couple of decades at best.
But what do I know I only spent a couple decades training in authentic provable arts which are still in Japan being taught and a decade of which traveling to Japan where I am the personal student of several real Sokes (Grandmasters) recognized by the Japanese government who's names aren't Grandmaster Hanshi 9th degree black belt O'Sensei John Smith who teaches in a strip mall.
