2:22 - 2:27 this exchange is amazing. I like how Norio Matsumoto besides being brilliant at directing and animating beautiful choreography also understands what the fighters are thinking. Sasuke can start swinging his sword in the beginning, but once Naruto gets close he no longer has enough space to use a significantly longer weapon without risking getting cut so he ends up tanking Naruto's hits until he can move away. Every swing of that sword counts so Sasuke tries to save it for a perfect moment. Many other animators would just focus on making these clashes look esthetically pleasing without focusing on realism of the fight. If you turn your head away from the screen for just a moment you'll miss so much hard work that has been put into these 5 seconds alone. This man is a genius. Being able to animate speed, power and push body movements to such extents without making it unrealistic takes years and years of practice. Truly a master of his craft.

So Matsumoto & Yamashita, both who were part of the Boruto Naruto The Movie Fights Sequence scene. Then the Naruto vs Sasuke Final fight will be the best anime fight for this year then.
Man, there are a lot of good key animator to choice, and I hope they get nakamura like Mad house did with one punch man. If we cant get nakamura I choice the next keys: -Naoki for the beginning of the fight (before naruto goes to rikoduo sennin mode) and for the big explosion. -Norio for the last part of the fight, when naruto and sasuke use only taijustu (norio is good with realistic motion). -Yamashita for the talking after the fight, he is the best with face animation and face drawing. -Chengxi huang can animate the part when sasuke uses chidori, and the last clash of the rasengan and chidori (he did a great work with that part when sasuke and naruto tried to seal kaguya). -Maybe they could use Tetsuya Takeuchi, Kouda and ken'ichi fujisawa for the kyubi and perfect susanoo fight.
The funny thing is, the stuff Matsumoto animated in Shippuden is pretty similar to how Yamashita does with his style. Because Matsumoto's animation in the original Naruto were different styles, it's not as fluent and fast-paced like it was in Shippuden. Yamashita's animation influence is god tier. But that's not to downplay Matsumoto, he's still very good and talented among the other Naruto Shippuden animators that played a big role in the major fights.
Hiroyuki Yamashita was the director of Boruto while Norio Matsumoto was one his assistant in Boruto, who storyboard the last fight n animated most of it.
