And while many BLACK Men in Ameica wanted to fight the fascists-only a very few like John Charles Robinson AKA the Brown Candor succeeded in accomplishing this feat. This denial was due to US government policy at that time. It was the same in the Caribbean, MANY Caribbean men amd women wanted to fight but the colonial government (Britian) at that time prohibited the men from joining the war. ...
