Such a beautiful model. I am also trying to make this model. I was wondering how you managed to paint over the spray painted surface? As I also spray painted the shingles but the surface has become very slippery and acrylic paint is not sticking over it at all. I'll appreciate the response TIA!
Basically, I used a mat spray-paint on most of it. So that helps. If you can find a black primer that should help you out with the slipperiness and with how well it sticks. It can also have something to do with the materials you used for the tiles. Idk if you used cardboard or foam like me. Cardboard might indeed make it stick less. So, I'd say, get yourself a black primer and work in lots of layers. Hope this helps. (Sorry I took nine days to respond. Somehow i did not see the comment earlier.) Let me know how it goes.
