You stayed in one of poor area of Sofia city , doesnt make it Latvia 30 years ago , Sofia has bigger population than your country itself as a city and bigger economy, bigger gdp per capita , with 1300 euro net average salary a month , meanwhile its the same with Riga average salary.Cezch and Estonia probably way better but Latvia definitely not.
Where are better areas in Sofia?
@@MakeAdventureHappen you stayed in north zone , all the neighbourhoods in south is nice such as the areas around paradise mall and bulgaria mall , once you get near vitosha mountain , all places are just nice and very modern.
@@MakeAdventureHappen i am sure Latvia is very cool country , no doubt but sayin Bulgaria is 30 years ago version of Latvia is quiet brutal and unbased comment.
I agree, he literally couldn't have picked worse areas to walk around. As a local, I always avoid these streets because I hate them lol, they are so miserable and stuck in the past. Seems only random tourists go there, idk why...
Anywhere south of NDK is decent, and that's where all of us young locals hang out : ).
@@kaloyanivanchev9876 it is crazy when tourists only walk around serdica metro station and see nevski cathedral then think that they saw sofia centre and the city ... at least they could walk around doctors garden or around vitosha street or ndk etc.. There is not even much poverty in Sofia compared to past
