- I've been at this year's Rallye Rejviz 2018 and I'm glad to show you this amazing parade full of ambulances and other EMS vehicles from various countries, mixed together with great people and tons of sirens! :) More information below.
How many vehicles and where are they from?
I counted around 75 different emergency vehicles which passed me. Note that I did not count those which had only temporary magnetic mounted lights which I assume were for the parade only.
The teams are from 13 different countries which are Czechia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Canada, Greece, Cyprus, Japan, Hungary, United Kingdom, Poland, Estonia, Norway and Austria.
Unfortunately & of course not all the teams come with their own vehicles. Most surprising for me was that team London arrived with their own ambulance which was awesome to see (they drove around 20h btw)!
What is the Rallye Rejviz?
The Rallye Rejviz is basically an international competition between various teams from several countries. They participate in different scenarios and judges see how well they handle them. At the end it's not just a competition but it's also a learning process for everybody since they can learn from each other and different systems or find interesting ideas for their system. Of course there is a great atmosphere which everybody loves (I have not met any person or any team which was disappointed) :)
There are usually around 3 days of competitions and Saturday (at least this year) they had the final results announced in Jesenik and went on the 1.5 - 2h long parade which is full of blasting lights & sirens! Afterwards they party around at the hotel :)
The event takes place each year in May.

Final words
Special thanks to everyone who assisted me when I was taking pictures and videos and a big shout out to everyone! Especially to my friends from team London, Japan, Slovakia and Austria! :)

3:16 LUL dat siren. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It seems like they do this every year :D
I see one hungarian ambulance (s.p.e.c), and no more... but wasn't there japanese ambulances?? Or only the doctor/driver from Japan?? Sorry my english! And cool video:)
Team Hungary only had a physician crew participating at the Rallye Rejviz this year which is why they only arrived with one single s.p.e.c. doctor car. Other countries like Slovakia or Slovenia had arrived with more teams and more vehicles.
There were no Japanese ambulances, just Japanese teams. Getting an ambulance from Japan to Czechia would probably too much just for the event. The Japanese and Canadian teams were riding with Czech and Slovak ambulances as seen at 6:25, 8:38, 8:44 and 13:10. The driver was from the ambulance's providers.
My flickr photo album also gives you a good overview on almost all the emergency vehicles at the event: www.flickr.com/photos/rtobi911/sets/72157691723479190 (as noticed in the description).
Fantastic catches, obviously I'm biased but my favorite is the UK ambo with the union jack at the front haha, nice to see they stopped for a chat as well. BTW how come the one after had union jacks as well when it's clearly not a British ambo? :)
Thank you! Haha! That was actually one of my favorite ambulances as well when I checked out all the units on the parking lot. There are a few reasons for me. 1st because it came the long way from London. 2nd I've been to London and haven't seen those very often. 3rd I also got some good close looks on the lights & siren setup. Even though there was enough space in the front for the siren speaker the manufacturer installed it somewhere (not visible) behind the bumper which explains why I noticed that the siren is pretty quiet during the parade. 4th Talking with the crew was very easy and interesting and we had very similar minds actually.
The only uk ambo was from some private company, not LAS or NHS?
Za mě vyhrává 6:35 ZZSHMP feat. family frost
jo, to je parádní :D
Takže se mě to nezdálo? 🤣🤣🤣
LAS In Czechia. Cool. :)
Yep! Surprised me as well since it's quite a far way from London to the east of Czechia.

One ambulance with the old Dutch 3 tone siren:)
Yeah. I wish I could write that I have a video of it. I remember that I ambitiously waited for them to return in the evening since they left earlier. The were coming back right when I was leaving but unfortunately they didn't agree to do a lights & siren demo :(
That's too bad. I really miss this siren

UK specialist ambulance service is the UK ambulance
I can't find Greece...
They didn't come with their own unit and they also didn't put a flag on "their" ambulance.
