I want to mention something. You said that the devs shouldn't care about the score chasers. The issue is, these score chasers tend to be the whales of the game. Not making a new difficulty will gut the game's revenue at this point of time imo. I do agree that making new difficulties really shouldn't be a constant thing. But at the current time, they kinda have to. Until they make another game mode, etc. Remember that the survey just dropped last week. The devs aren't going to magically make something based on the survey feedback in probably earliest 6 months. I am expecting the 8th difficulty on the anni because the devs need something before they can make anything else. After that, hopefully we don't need a 9th one (though, since I believe powercreep is inevitable, they will make one in the far future). As it stands, I think I'm starting to see people get tired of the current raid situation, since the raids can be cleared quite easily by many players at this point.
To be fair I did not say they should not care, I said I don't care about score chaser xD. Also I think making different and interesting content is better on the long run, but new difficulty tiers are inevitable even if I don't like them.
@@sherlockyt I do agree. The game needs to have more situations where people can just use a diverse set of characters with no downsides (Grand Assault is kinda like this, but...). If people choose to use D.Hina, go ahead. If people want to use Aru, no biggie, just a tad bit harder, but if the content has no time limit, does it matter? That being said, I've seen people hate JFD because of its gimmicks. There are people that don't like not being able to clear content. So, a mode that requires a large, diverse cast is a bit tricky to make. I also don't know if not putting rewards is a good idea. A roguelike would be cool. It would be interesting if Focus Fire was actually required in something, or DoT damage, hell bring back that gimmick where all the enemies just take 1 damage, so ATK SPD is king.
@@Chanc3Trance I don't recall implying no rewards, we need more resources so rewards are required. Maybe I said something that could have created that miss understanding. I personally like JFD conceptually and while it could use some improvement I think it's a good mode in essence. DoTs are key in Chokmah but that's yet to get to global. In the end content that allows for more characters to be used is good for the game as there's more incentive to pull for characters instead of just chasing the power creep, we can pull for functionality.
The little nicknames for characters like “grumpy devil” are so funny.
Great stream, sad I missed it!
@@BoneyGaf there's always today :D and yeah the cat is out of the bag with the nicknames I have for characters hahaha
