I listened to this album over 1000 times and still to this day, I knew James was struggling and now he is in heaven signing these beautiful song to others and probably with Haydain Neale of jacksoul and many great Canadian signers gone to soon. RIP great first album and then he left it went 2x platinum in Canada and won a Juno and amazing for a first album .
@@pedromanuelnavarro7474 He had demons, mental health is real, apparently he had severe anxiety on stage and had depression was unable to to perform in front of people and that's why he left and was replaced with a women from Montreal, they had a minor hit with a song called YOU from that women, but he preferred to be behind the scenes, as a producer and song writer, and I guess the demons got the best of him :( So talented - amazing first album

With his glasses and his bleached hair. At the other side of the counter. I know what is going to happen in his life. I go up to him and hug him. Him, a bit confused, hugged me back. I silently cry in his arms telling him that everything will be ok. I feel a kiss on my head and him saying "till the day that we'll be together, i'll be missing you". I backed up and looked at him with my glossy eyes. I smiled and held his hands. I woke up from this dream heartbroken, but relieved. He is in a good place now. I miss you James. I will see you soon ❤
to be frank the guy was an enigma, but you are 100% right, if JR had not quit Sky they would’ve been one of the greatest acts Canada would have produced in the 2000s.
Here's hoping that Dwight Nolan returns to sky, this time as himself, and not doing the singing for James. James had a heavy case of stage fright and anxiety so he didn't actually sing any of his songs. You'll hear this fact in the interviews with James, the voice is so different.
