I'm turning 30 this upcoming Sunday [ august 28th - happy virgo season ] and I wanted to celebrate this new chapter by recapping my last, together. I am maybe one of your eldest viewers (47) , throughout my 20's it was my party/learning years with a kid at 24 & second at 29, my 30's was my damn I am still not the all knowing and realized that change was not just needed on my end but from others, now with my 50's around the corner I have learned to leave behind anything and anyone who does not bring positive energy in my life, and realize that my circle is smaller but with ppl who genuinely care and love me, and I have no need to be or try to be someone I am not.

Girl, this was an amazing watch. I’m two years into my 30s and let me tell you - I am loving it. The anxiety and lingering thoughts doesn’t always go away BUT you learn to give it less power. In my 30’s I found clarity and realized a lot of my issues stem from my mother. Unfortunately, I had to cut communication with her because it was just poison in my life. I feel so much happier and have been able to heal. Each one of us have our own journey. As long as it’s in the direction of growth no one should ever judge your individuality (hair color, clothing, hair style).

Sam, thank you so much for this vulnerable and reflective video. I’m turning 27 next year and I’ve been watching and following you since I was a teenager, my now husband watches you too. We just bought our first house earlier this year and this video brought forth a lot of reflection and introspection, I’ve been putting unrealistic expectations on myself and I’ve had unrealistic expectations put on me especially by my family since I’m the first of my siblings to get married and buy a house. I feel this pressure to be the one to have everything figured out and to do everything perfectly when I’m still figuring things out and this video was a much needed reminder to give myself grace and start enforcing healthy boundaries with those around me. Thank you for this!
It honestly makes all relationships stronger. Feels uncomfortable at first to give yourself grace, since it almost feels like an excuse but why beat yourself up when the world already stacks unrealistic goals on you? I'm so happy you enjoyed!

I’m 24 and so far my 20s are the worst times of my life.
I won't lie, I won't miss my 20s at all 🤣 I wanted to be 30 by 22.
While I wouldn't trade the good times I had, I feel this so hard. I was so ready for 30. My 20s needed to happen, but they were embarrassing, lol. All we can do is be grateful for the lessons we learned and do our best to move forward with the wisdom we've acquired.

Also turning 30 on Sept 4th 🥰 I've been subscribed for many many many years. I think around 2014. It's when I had my first baby and I could relate to you as a young mom being the same age. A lot has changed and many lessons have been learned for myself as well. I'm actually excited for my 30s 😅🥰

Wow informative video. It made me emotional 😢😭because you mentioned a lot of things that I went through and am still going through and damn it's a struggle. I am 39 turning 40 in December and I feel like my life, my time is running out and I havent done everything that I want to do in life because of fear.
