One of the few UA-cam videos on pedal building that discribes the process from beginning to end.

Very thorough and enjoyable. Great tone, too!

That was the clearest and most approachable explanation of a DIY pedal build I have ever seen,
and it sounded great on both guitar and bass.
    Respect.

I have made a few of my own pedals and found this thoroughly enjoyable. As always your explanations are clear and with just the right amount of detail for your target audience, IMHO. Many thanks.

This video would have been incredibly helpful to me when just starting. And it's still great as an overview!
I'd love to see more simple (or moderate difficulty) mods! Like using a toggle to switch diodes or how to look for where to swap resistors to increase or reduce low frequencies. Love all this channel's content!

Extremely helpful! Would love to get a demo of the Ahm Bee Aunce as well some time :)

I bought this PCB and it is great. I was in pursuit of the Everlasting Gaze tone (Smashing Pumpkins). The clean blend and mid scoop are an important requirement for this tone. I put an EQ after the fuzz with my guitar tuned to C standard and it is AWESOME. So I bought another. This time I might experiment with the gate potentiometer and see whether it is worth externally mounting it. I also bought DIYGP's Punkin Pi op amp fuzz. Also great.

Amazing resources. The most experience I have with soldering is guitar pickups. I ended up getting pretty frustrated at the price of Fairfield Circuitry pedals and I've bought 3 kits to make. Not the most beginner friendly but I think I'll get by

Man. I was hoping you would have a kit to order.

I thought I could harvest some old toasters to get components, but apparently a guitar effect is way more complex than that. I would do more experiments but I'm afraid I'll build a taser instead and fry my amp and or my guitar :D

Sweet. Ive been keeping an eye open for a channel like this. Question: does this channel have any vids on the following topic? I have a multi channel amp that came with a foot switcher. But it has a shared fx loop. How do i switch from one channel to the other AND turn off my fx loop pedals all w one button press?

Very cool. How long does it take to ship from Australia to the USA?

I can't seem to be able to locate the 150nF (film) or the 3900pF (film) Capacitors. Any idea what values I could use for replacements? Would 100nF work for the 150nF ones, and 4700pF work for the 3900?

Do you have a standard tuning guitar to do a sound sample with? Something other than a baritone?

Can we use alternative transistors to 2N5088? It is hard to find for me.

At 29:55, NOT True! Most devices have center contact as Positive!

Most power supplies for guitar pedals ARE center negative. This is something you see in most guitar pedals. Even my lunch-box tube/hybrid amp is center negative.

Good instructional video until @28:58, when you skipped the actual wiring of the pedal!
