I can understand the decision he made choosing the fresher younger talent bcuz they can be easier to work with verses someone who's experienced in the business. Ruth has a power voice but she did go off key a cpl times and I don't think she would have made it thru if she wasn't the underdog. She had the crowd behind her and he made a statement that Denise had her chance which I thought was unfair. If they feel that way on the Voice, then don't let professionals or x pros come on the show. That's like saying a pro don't have a chance! Not to mention how they will put you under the microscope. I'm like the other person who wrote a comment on here. They did good bcuz they're not strung out on drugs which many groups from back in the day has gone. I wish the Dova Deniece well! She's the bomb, and she ate that song alive with her cool swag, Michael Jackson style, fine brown frame! Her voice has truly escalated over the years and what she's able to do with her instrument, maneuvering it like a real vocalist. She was amazing! The Voice was really a platform to get her noticed again, whether she went all t way or not, we all know she's out there and still following her dream to the next level. Kudos!
