Great list! Last Action Hero and Leon way high for my liking. ONE movie I would of included is Terminal Velocity. Just a fun cheesy action flick with some really cool stunt work.

Seagal movies are fun.. I don't understand why people hate his movies !! My Blu Ray collection has over 8500 discs and i own each and every Seagal's movie..
I loved Seagal's earlier films for sure! His initial run of like 4 films were excellent. Some of his recent B movies are a miss for me though but I get the appeal.
@@MoviesNeverSayDie I just don't like Steven Seagul . The only one I seen that I liked was On Deadly Ground where he is in Alaska. I was born in 99 so most of these movies I never saw. My husband was born in 85 and he has been showing me all the great movies he watched as a kid from the 80s and 90s . Most of them I absolutely love, I think movies from that time period has feeling and a certain charm that I just don't see in modern movies . That's my humble opinion anyway. Best wishes.

But no we're definitely not rich he doesn't make six figures. He's 5 11 not 6 3 but he does have a six pack and he is very handsome.
I've seen them all. 🙃 I would recommend some other movies off top of my head. Two with Mark Dacascos - Drive (1997) and Only the Strong (1993), one with Dolph Lundgren - Joshua Tree (1993) , and some Hongkong movies like Legend of the Drunken Master (1994), Once Upon a Time in China 1, 2 (1991, 1992), The Mission (1999). Maybe also Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai (1999), french Taxi (1998), The Negotiator (1998). Did i miss True Lies and Cliffhanger?
Some great films here! I did put both True Lies and Cliffhanger. I think each broke top 15 or so. I plan to put a martial arts list together soon as well to cover more of that genre.
Holy fuck! I remember Firestorm not great but it definitely stuck with me. William Forsythe is one of the great villain character actors of ALL TIME. Love that man!
Forsythe was a staple for 80s and 90s villains. Right there with Lance Henriksen and even John Lithgow delivered some great bad guys. I really loved Forsythe in Seagal's Out for Justice! A truly slimy villain!
1 On Deadly Ground Steven Seagal 2 The Rookie Clint Eastwood Charlie Sheen 3 Maverick Mel Gibson Jodie Foster 4 Ransom Mel Gibson 5 US Marshals Tommy Lee Jones Wesley Snipes Robert Downey Jr 6 Metro Eddie Murphy 7 Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot Sylvester Stallone 8 The Mask Of Zorro
Appreciate the effort going into this list. You got at least 77% right. Disagree with films like Fith Element being labelled an Action movie [Sci-fi Comedy], River Wild [Thriller] just doesn't strike me as an action flick. Men in Black [Sci-fi Comedy]...I mean, come on now! As an action junkie, this urks me😢
Transers was I think the first movie I seen Helen Hunt in that trilogy should return in a blue rays set and I also want to see animated Manga action movies come back again as well because my sister introduced me to them and I thank her for that always .
Did anybody actually see Steven Seagal dying in Executive decision? As far as I'm concerned he could land on his feet and walked away to the next "gas, food, lodging place" for slice of pizza and beer. Otherwise too many Van Damme stupid films by my taste and missing Strange Days.
I got a soft spot for Snipes, Busey's a great villain and I like the skydiving but I get how Ford as the president would be the superior film to pretty much everyone else but me...and Snipes I suppose. Thanks for watching!
@@MoviesNeverSayDie Well that’s no surprise considering US Marshals was on this list but I don’t remember The Fugitive being on there. And ftr you’re talking to a guy who literally named his car after Wesley Snipes, I agree the man is awesome no doubt, but I’m sorry even he couldn’t save Drop Zone lol. But hey to each’s own, and more importantly I enjoyed the video.
I’ll be honest, I appreciate you putting your list together but I feel like you miss great movies that should be in the top 10 or 20 that I really don’t remember seeing in your 100. Also there are some weak movies in from 100- 50 that have no business on this list. You also have some movies in your top 10 that should be closer to 25 - 50. The matrix is not a top 10 movie. Maybe I missed it but where was fight club? Even though they are not great the postman and water world are better about 25% of your movies on your list. Cop land should absolutely be on this list as well. If I do a deep dive there are plenty of others left off this list
Dammit now yall picked Soldier?!?!?!? You are making it hard to stop commenting on your excellent choices! I have to stop or all the comments here will be mine 😅
@@MoviesNeverSayDie my top 5 overall would be: 1- The Professional 2- Terminator 2 3- Speed 4- Face/Off 5- The Rock. Matrix is somewhere in my top 10 :p good choice!👍
Thanks for watching Pat - I struggled with The Fugitive, while it has a couple action spots, it always felt like more of an adventure whodunnit rather than a straight forward action movie.
Predator 2 was ok but many bad even original copies of this movie. I had VHS ok bad luck but i bought original DVD copy and it was also total creepy with mono sound.
I've always enjoyed The Jackal more than most for some reason and I don't know why but Rush Hour has never been a favorite of mine. But I get the appeal, I was always the one guy not diggin Rush Hour when the films were released.
@@MoviesNeverSayDie it's not so much that you're not a big Rush Hour fan that's confusing. I've just never met anyone that likes The Jackal lol. The one scene where he shoots Jack Black is great tho
I would say it still holds in my Top 20 of all time somewhere maybe top 15. The rebelliousness of all appealed to me and really still does. Great acting, smart story, direction is solid, it's a great film. I'm also a big fan of Chuck Palahniuk.
It definitely has suspense and thriller aspects to it. It's funny how many movies would make no sense with some of the recent tech we've adapted to. Thanks for watching! 🤙
@MoviesNeverSayDie you need to think enough to look up a word if you don't know what it means. Cheesy means it's not very good, and you used this terminology to describe movies that are seen as classics now. I love your channel man, but seriously, you need to understand what words mean.
So many Action movies in 90s!! Jurassic Park, Blade, Deep Blue Sea and Anaconda, Godzilla, The 5th Element, Judge Dread, Dracula,The Mummy,Independence Day, Matrix, Terminator 2,The Rock, Speed, Braveheart and more
I disagreed with many of these placements, as one does when listing 100 movies from the greatest era of action movies, but only one made me upset. Ranking THE FIFTH ELEMENT at number 46 is such a grossly criminal misrepresentation of coherent thought that I am genuinely concerned that an AI created this list. How any living human with a functioning prefrontal cortex could possibly rate this movie so low is literally beyond me. This is a top 20 movie at worst and could easily be a top 10. You, sir, are drunk. Respectfully.
Weird, I clearly mentioned at the beginning of this video I wanted to primarily keep this list to straightforward action movies. Leaving out adventure films, sci-fi epics, westerns, crime-dramas' etc unless warranted to make the list. If this was an overall Top-100 of the 90s list your Fifth Element would rank higher as it's much more a science-fiction adventure with great doses of action (and a rock solid movie). But this is my action list. Any human with a functioning prefrontal cortex and coherent thought wouldn't be so sensitive to a stranger not liking a film as much as they do. Toughen up or calibrate that cortex.
You did it wrong and You forget at least half of iconic movies,. ... and common Blade higher than Crow? True Lies was maybe worse A.S. movie in 90's, and Matrix is hard to watch again and after good, long beginning its just total boring non sense.
That's an awesome fun fact about Soldier, I didn't know that! The Boz was definitely soft compared to his on field persona. I grew up in Seattle and loved my Seahawks, they would have vignettes on the news of Boz getting his weekly haircut for the big game and it just didn't translate to stats.
I just watched it , I thought I would really like it because best served is my favorite fantasy book and the author said he got the idea from his favorite revenge movie point of no return. But it's nothing like the book other then it's a woman and about revenge.
The Matrix is good, but VERY overrated in terms of action. Terminator 2 is CLEARLY the best action film ever made. The Matrix is laughable by comparison.
@Rocka7038 How is the Matrix better? All it is is kung fu fights. T2 has action with trucks, helicopters, vans, cars, and juggernauts. T2 is CLEARLY bigger and better.
T2 gets wasted by Matrix’s fights, look, story, gunfights (the foyer scene alone beats anything in T2) and soundtrack. T2 is amazing but Matrix is sublime
@Rocka7038 Pretty sure your wrong then. Why can't you just accept someone's opinion different than your own? You cannot compare the action in The Matrix to the action in T2. Please.
Like a lot of true crime content these videos have so much potential to be worth watching if the creators didn't think we would prefer to watch someones head talking into the camera for 70% of the time instead of more actual footage from the subject itself ..Like been forced to stare into the eyes of some knobhead babbling into the lens is ever gonna be more interesting than footage of action films...
"Further down the rabbit whole of darkness!" is a perfect way to explain Bruce in The Last Boy scout - what an amazing movie - so underated.
💯

@@LM-Whit-99does you're husband got money 🤑💰???
@@corymiller536 he replaced broken sewer pipes and remodelees houses mostly. He makes pretty good money enough so I dont have to work and can stay home with the baby and one on the way.
You watched all 100 movies? You are brave😂
@@MoviesNeverSayDieMercury Rising with Bruce Willis was a good one also.
Death Warrant is awesome. Dark stuff and my fave JCVD flick
Fun prison movie, The Sandman rocks!
@@MoviesNeverSayDie Priest is great too 🤗
No Mark Dacascos? Drive? Crying Freeman? Both very stylish...
I did drop the ball not getting Only the Strong on the list. Thanks for watching!
The 6th day with Arnold Schwarzenegger that was 90s I'm pretty sure it was 99 it was good .
I always have a great time with 6th Day, I like it much more than my friends for sure. But its a fun adventure!
How is Natural Born Killer not on here?
And how is Leon so far back?
1 On Deadly Ground Steven Seagal
2 The Rookie Clint Eastwood Charlie Sheen
3 Maverick Mel Gibson Jodie Foster
4 Ransom Mel Gibson
5 US Marshals Tommy Lee Jones Wesley Snipes Robert Downey Jr
6 Metro Eddie Murphy
7 Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot Sylvester Stallone
8 The Mask Of Zorro
Great picks! I actually just rewatched Metro the other day on Tubi! Also love The Rookie with Eastwood and Sheen!
Bullet to the head should be here....what a sick joyride of a movie
Great action movie but it came from 2012. Thanks for watching! 👍🏻
Shout put to Gary Busy he is in like half of these movies
True legend!
Young guns 2 best non special effects action by a long shot and T2 is number 1 sci fi special effects ever 😊❤
Virtuosity is highly underrated and Crowe is a great villain 👏
Totally! I always have a blast with that one, seeing Washington and Crowe going all-in is a riot!
Point Break and the Rock are the most perfect action movies , ill fight on that hill
Two great action flicks!
As an action junkie, this urks me😢
Thanks for watching!
all movies u mentioned have action as part of their story progression or even as a main nonhuman character central to plot ( the river in wild river).
Stone Cold is the best movie on the list, Beyond the Law with Charlie Sheen should be on this, so should American Yakuza
Beyond the Law is a solid movie Sheen and Madsen are great!
Just started, but if universal soldier isnt top ten, ill still watch to see my rage😂😂😂
MIB and rush hour need to be much higher. US marshalls too
I have only seen 42 of these movies on this list.
That's pretty good! You'll have some fun action movies to watch for sure!
Theirs soo many low budget martial arts movies, that should be on here.
I plan to make a list specifically for martial arts movies in the near future. Thanks for watching.
Transers was I think the first movie
I seen Helen Hunt in that trilogy should return in a blue rays set and I also want to see animated Manga action movies come back again as well because my sister introduced me to them and I thank her for that always .
Trancers was a fun sci-fi thriller!
Did anybody actually see Steven Seagal dying in Executive decision? As far as I'm concerned he could land on his feet and walked away to the next "gas, food, lodging place" for slice of pizza and beer. Otherwise too many Van Damme stupid films by my taste and missing Strange Days.
I remember seeing Executive Decision in the theater and when Seagal went we all looked at each other like "what just happened".
Leon The Profesional es top 20
Cold Stone es top 50
La alegría de la vida es que cada uno tiene su propio gusto en cuanto a películas.
I enjoy the Ninja Turtles movies however. I still like the second one the best.
Yeah I really liked that 2nd one too. Fun movie!
Mate u missed Judge Dredd and Demolition Man
I have Demolition Man somewhere in the top 20s. Thanks for watching!
Drop Zone better than Air Force One!? Come ooonnn
I lived in the area where surviving the game was shot.
That's cool! I lived up in Washington as a kid but on the west side of the mountains. They used great locations for that movie!
Dammit now yall picked Soldier?!?!?!? You are making it hard to stop commenting on your excellent choices! I have to stop or all the comments here will be mine 😅
I love Soldier! Definitely an underrated performance from Russell!
@@MoviesNeverSayDie seriously!
My Another Best Action Movies of the 90s
Speed
Deep Blue Sea
A Low Down Dirty Shame
Surviving The Game
Strong pics! I just watched Dirty Shame the other day on Tubi - they got a few Wayans films on there right now. I also caught Most Wanted recently.
Your #62 is my favorite movie of all time
The Professional is a great movie! Thanks for watching!
@@MoviesNeverSayDie my top 5 overall would be:
1- The Professional
2- Terminator 2
3- Speed
4- Face/Off
5- The Rock.
Matrix is somewhere in my top 10 :p good choice!👍
Excellent top 5!
You missed the best action movie of the 90s The Fugitive!
Thanks for watching Pat - I struggled with The Fugitive, while it has a couple action spots, it always felt like more of an adventure whodunnit rather than a straight forward action movie.
But you did a great job man! Both your 90s action series and best 100 80s movies! Well done 👍🏻
The best action movie ever made is T2, not just the 90s.
Thanks a ton Pat I appreciate that!!
Predator 2 was ok but many bad even original copies of this movie. I had VHS ok bad luck but i bought original DVD copy and it was also total creepy with mono sound.
I had a VHS copy of it as well that I watched tons of times and it wasnt the best copy either.
Ranking THE JACKAL above RUSH HOUR is wilddddddddd
I've always enjoyed The Jackal more than most for some reason and I don't know why but Rush Hour has never been a favorite of mine. But I get the appeal, I was always the one guy not diggin Rush Hour when the films were released.
@@MoviesNeverSayDie it's not so much that you're not a big Rush Hour fan that's confusing. I've just never met anyone that likes The Jackal lol. The one scene where he shoots Jack Black is great tho
@@wolfwilesEveryone should love the Jackal. It's a good action movie.
@@MoviesNeverSayDieRush Hour is soooo good.
It's an OPINION relax .....
The Iceman cometh (HK)
I just really have to disagree with you with die hard 2 though
I can understand that. Thanks for watching!
Stone Cold with “The Boz!!”
💯
What, no "Usual Suspects" on the list?! SRSLY???
That one was always more of a mystery crime-drama to me. But a fantastic film no doubt! Thanks for watching!
Terminator 2 is best action movie of all time in the 90s👍
Certainly an iconic movie! Thanks for watching!
so, no Jurassic Park, huh?
JP is always more of an adventure film than a straight forward action movie. Iconic film though no doubt.
Point Break there is no substitute.
💯 Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
Damn no terminal velocity ?!??
Great pick, sadly missed the list but I love Charlie Sheen flicks for sure! Thanks for watching Johnny!
el mariachi always the superior movie to desperado
Thanks for watching!
Fight club is the best movie ever made. And that's my favorite movie ever made WTF
Fight Club is a classic, I watched it over and over during college.
@@MoviesNeverSayDie where is Fight Club all-time on your list? I heard you say college, it still holds up.
I would say it still holds in my Top 20 of all time somewhere maybe top 15. The rebelliousness of all appealed to me and really still does. Great acting, smart story, direction is solid, it's a great film. I'm also a big fan of Chuck Palahniuk.
die hard 3 has to be higher.. thats top 5 action movie of all time
It's a great great film no doubt!
No Bond Movies
GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies are in there. Both in the top 25 if I recall correctly. Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
I will have Terminator 2 as the best
Solid choice!
Always liked judgment night. I'm not sure i consider it an action movie. Also, now, with cell phones, it makes no sense to modern audiences.
It definitely has suspense and thriller aspects to it. It's funny how many movies would make no sense with some of the recent tech we've adapted to. Thanks for watching! 🤙
T2 easy number 1.
A great movie! Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
I don't think you understand what "cheesy" actually means.
Well thinking is awesome you keep at it.
@MoviesNeverSayDie you need to think enough to look up a word if you don't know what it means. Cheesy means it's not very good, and you used this terminology to describe movies that are seen as classics now. I love your channel man, but seriously, you need to understand what words mean.
Bring me a dream Burke….Death Warrant is terrible.
Yea it certainly has its flaws.
Stone cold is top 50 easy
You're forbidden from using the word "romp" ever again! 😅
It's time to break out a thesaurus.
Aye-aye Captain 7967!
So many Action movies in 90s!! Jurassic Park, Blade, Deep Blue Sea and Anaconda, Godzilla, The 5th Element, Judge Dread, Dracula,The Mummy,Independence Day, Matrix, Terminator 2,The Rock, Speed, Braveheart and more
💯
Toughen up or calibrate that cortex.
is heat the best action film on your list id say no is it the the best film on your list id say yes
I would agree for sure, Heat is in my Top-5 movies of all time, love it!
You did it wrong and You forget at least half of iconic movies,. ... and common Blade higher than Crow? True Lies was maybe worse A.S. movie in 90's, and Matrix is hard to watch again and after good, long beginning its just total boring non sense.
Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
Oh man, Bosworth wasn’t good as a player. He was soft and an injury riddled bust. Also Soldier is notable for being part of the Blade Runner universe.
Rush hour is way too low!!
I find heat and the matrix extremely boring, i wouldn't even count them as an action movies
Fair enough. Thanks for watching Cory.
Point of No Return is a travesty. One of the worst remakes ever made.
Gotta check that one out.
Thanks for watching!
I just watched it , I thought I would really like it because best served is my favorite fantasy book and the author said he got the idea from his favorite revenge movie point of no return. But it's nothing like the book other then it's a woman and about revenge.
Independence Day and Batman Returns don't even crack top 100?!
I'd consider those more adventure movies.
The Matrix is good, but VERY overrated in terms of action. Terminator 2 is CLEARLY the best action film ever made. The Matrix is laughable by comparison.
Thanks for watching!
Am agree with You, for me it's the Best action film of the 90s T2 :)
Please.
Dark Angel is trash. Should not be ahead of Air Force One that i feel should be farther up the list. Top 20.
Thanks for watching! 🤙🏻
My knobhead only has one eye! Thanks for watching.
