This month's video also features Eden District Council's decision to reject National Highways' retrospective planning application for the controversial infilling of Great Musgrave Bridge in Cumbria.
The verdict came more than a year after the infilling was carried out by Amco Giffen on behalf of the roads operator. In this time, the strength of feeling against the infill has grown, with engineers expressing their anger and ‘shame’ at the work and MPs calling for a rethink.
In addition there's an update on the HS2 Phase 2b bill and a big milestone for the London Power Tunnels project.
