As a 54 year old person with a disability (Cerebral Palsy) and walks on his knees most of the time like your son, watching him having fun in the playground brought back some good memories for me. Thanks for showing this, and god bless you all.
Ive nevr met any1 with cerebral palsy who walkd on their knees. I use to take care of a little girl who had surgery to stretch. Her muscles an they nevr dis her exercises that were supposed to do within 3 mos i had her walkn up an down the stairs an and almost walkn around the block an when we 1st starts she couldnt do the stairs an barely walk a few house away an we would have to turn around an go back home an aftr the spring an summer time we were walkn about 10 blocks every day
She's about 33 now an had children of her own now.... She was about 5 or 6 when i used to watch her.....
I do know that its a disease that shortens ur muscles. An the other few people i new walkd on their tip toes. Mother an son afew yrs back... It passed on from her. He walkd just like her too...

Leon amazes me how he can move so quickly on his knees -he actually brought happy tears to my eyes to see such a beautiful boy with his disabilities be so happy and enjoy himself no matter what -then you see little Theo who is really growing so fast with such a calm look about him and so adorable in his cute outfit -he is such good baby -you two are richly blessed with your sons -thank you for being sunshine and joy into all our lives -my love and prayers always 🙏💗😊

When I look at those precious children, I think how blessed you parents are! Leon may be non verbal but he is smart and knows what is going on. I have a feeling he is going to ‘play’ you all in the future. lol

Would knee pads help Leon when playing outside?
I have wondered that as well..
My nephew knee walked for the first 5 years of his life and it caused the structure of his kneecaps to flatten and he can't straighten his legs fully now.
He's now 21and still knee walks and used his chair. But my sister started sewing knee pads into all of his pants. When he grew out of the pants she removed the pads and reused them if she could. It helped tremendously!
That is some good info Jenn! My Alyssa crawls and she has done it for 8 years. She has trouble straightening her legs. thank you for sharing this.
Yes knee pads for sure...even indoors..I cringe when he goes over vents
We tried them when he was about a year old and he would not keep them on so we talked to his ortho doctor and he actually said until he is older and heavier it's not an issue, and since Leon (like most kids and even adults) likes to do things the easy way if knee walking becomes super comfortable for him he is less likely to be motivated to stand or walk so his doctor said until he gets older and heavier or if he starts to see knee walking causing any issues that it's perfectly fine and actually preferred for him to not have knee pads.

I do think Leon could sleep anywhere and in any position. He looked so funny when he woke up in the sand, with a look like 'where am I?' Being at the playground sure did wear him out. Theo looked tired as well and that is a cute outfit. I have never played a computer game other than the card games that come with computers as well as Sudoku. I'm a senior citizen (LOL) so I play it every night to keep my brain sharp. Anyhow, all that to say, that I didn't have a clue what John was talking about with his controller as I have never used them. Even though my boys were small when computers came out, we never had any of those games for them and they play Nintendo at their grandmas. I always wanted to read.

ADORABKE outfit. Wal mart has actually been having some nice women's clothes. Not to get personal but they sell Rebok underwear now and they are very very comfortable, stretchy and 3 for 10. With underwear running at 9.00 a pair elsewhere. But my daughter was always an Abercrombue/Hollister girl and she's been buying a lot of clothes from Wal mart. Then again, she's not spending MY money so she's more frugal - HA.

Looks like my big Pitbulls paw prints 🐾!! Alligator prints usually look more like a hand with narrow fingers... the claws u are seeing are mostly like a dogs claws.
That's what I told John but he was being a dad and being super protective lol
