After an extended occupation in Afghanistan, the US withdrew their forces from the country in a rushed and unexpected way, leaving behind civilians and allies from all sides. Now, Afghanistan has been taken over by the Talibans, and the future of the country is now uncertain. The implications and consequences of this sudden withdrawal are still being seen day to day, as thousands try to escape the country.

This animation is very real. I was born when the United States invaded Afghanistan. In the early years of our childhood, we knew the United States as a rescue force from Taliban terrorists. But in the end, according to a shameful deal, the country was handed over to terrorists with both hands. America itself brought the Taliban to power, rest assured, because I was here and I saw what happened.

There was no betrayal by the US. The US was there to kill Osama Ben Laden. The US was there for 20 years despite the criticism from foreigners who told lies like "the US was there to still oil (Afghanistan does not have oil)" or "was there to set up a permanent military base (not true)." The US helped them set up a democracy, protected them from other countries, gave them humanitarian aid, military equipment and military training. When the US left foreigners changed their lies to "the US abandoned them." How long was the US supposed to be there? What more could have, or should have, the US have done?

I accept that taliban was difficult to kill, but this kind of massive failure and the seemingly-abanding exit form Afghanistan has more reasons. The curruption and taliban spies within the Afghan government and miltary were too much that it was very difficult for any form of a powerfull attack on the taliban. there is more in the internet. @@michelleroach6696 if you're talking me me not Jose then it's basically the nation the US tried to form for and from the people of Afghanistan had no interest in preserving it, atleast not enough of them at any rate. Within days of the US withdrawal a force of 200,000 afghan soldiers equipped better then most NATO armies was over run in less then 2 weeks by a force of 60,000 armed with 70s Soviet weapons with hardly a fight. Ukraine has managed to hold off Russia with half the equipment even as the west pores weapons in. It's clear the Afghans had no interest in the county the US helped an apparent minority of Afghans build. And so now they are back to the Islamic fundamentalist back water they were before now with a government who has all the equipment the US left behind.
